    I understand some of your frustration, but that's currently the life in this game. These recent patches have empowered groups in every way, the root from gap closing is an extra slap in the face. It's hard to get angry at people who are chasing roamers and trying to keep up with them using gap closers.

    I roam a lot, and I pull group aggro and it's the same thing for me. Marked and gap close spammed while I try to LOS, but I don't expect them to just run after me and avoid using gap closers.

Being a streamer and someone who made a name for themselves i expected a little more out of you than a ranting child like post on the forums. You post 1vX videos all the time and its never a problem until you run into players you can't 1vX. You think the world stops because @FENGRUSH shows up and everyone is supposed to fall for his sorc tactics and string out so you can pick them off one by one for the sake of your stream or 1vX vid? Welcome to the world of EP on haderus where we are stuck fighting outnumbered 90% of the time. I have to say im truely dissapointed that you of all ppl would make a post like this.     Before I logged for the night at 9pm est, GoS had a max group size of 18, sans Emperor. We had a fight with DC north of Aleswell in the field that was +27 and a fight with AD near Faregyl that was +33. You can't fight those numbers with a group of 4. Also, I do remember when you were Emperor you ran with a ball group of about 16. So I know you understand.

    Change of subject; how many people would play on Haderus if Emperor was disabled? If it was just a resource campaign with no emperor I feel it would encourage more small scale play.

    I already play there a lot since I've been online more often; I definitely would love to see it be small group, having emperor disabled could also be another way to not encourage zerging. 90% of the time when "large organized groups" migrate servers for the night, it's to crown emperor. But then again it almost defeats the purpose of farming AP if the only thing you could hope to get would be *** rewards at the end of the campaign cycle.

    I would love this change, there isn't a need for emperor (the way it's currently designed) in a small-scale environment. If ZOS cared about promoting healthy PvP, they might consider removing emp buffs among some other changes on a resource server like Haderus.

    One less reason to get large groups, one less reason to care about owning the ring. But then there is still the local AD population..and you shouldn't bring a knife to a gun fight, or in the case of AD a nuke to a knife fight.

    Was pretty tired and exhausted when I made the post - but its not even meant to be insulting.

    You cant string anything out in cyro - gap closers freeze you more often than you are running. You have to pick fights and hope you dont get overwhelmed too badly. The ambush spam is a reality no matter where you go or who/where youre fighting. Theres so many nightblades everywhere you go and its a joke that we go months without any sort of balancing or acknowledgement to address these sort of things.

    I fought AD on there too - there was definitely a larger mass of them than the EP one I fought. Got the same treatment as them, but I dont know anyone from (DIG?) as I was told they were. I dont expect different treatment from haxus, they run me down with 12+ people, but then again, some of their members will come off the side and fight me alone too. Im not calling out people or guilds, Im saying its disappointing you cant find any good fights with good guild members without putting together some large group that is comparatively sized to do so.

    This is a part of the reason Ive largely avoided Cyro, but people that show 3-4 people like theyre good to throw down some difficult fight only to open on you with 3 from sneak after you have to engage - its not even a fight at that point, because they didnt wanna engage in one.

    I didnt really read this thread through but I heard people wanted to do smaller scale pvp here. Hope something like that can happen, because the sewers are empty, ZOS isnt giving a reason to go back there anytime soon, and @Wrobel isnt commenting on anything as far as balance issues goes, and even if he did, it would only be because hes forced to placate a community he doesnt want to interact with that he finds no value in collaborating with for issues that are clearly broken.

    This would be awesome - from my discussions with ZOS it doesnt seem we can get a campaign with different ruleset on something like that. Some things are easy to change, others are not, its going to require some pretty huge changes as compared to having a campaign based on just a char level, like we have now.

    I think itd do a lot for the current scenario, because the longer term solution of making a lot of changes in cyro to open up opportunities and different objectives for other sized groups isnt around today and probably isnt coming anytime soon if ever?

    I enjoy dueling to an extent, but I want to do open world over anything. Its in such a horrible state for smaller scaled groups or soloers.

    I think @Psilent means that a group size limit would be included with a incapacitated Emperor.

    Without EMP you would need a reason to push the map.

    Not saying its not a good idea to remove for a small group server, but we need a mechanic for small groups to achieve a way to push the map for keep respawns points.

    I'd say, control of all 3 resources (with obvious tick window) automatic control of keep. Maybe have an extra flag take at each resource to make it harder but it should promote combat outside the walls but make keeps relevant.

    As for CKA, Lone and I have had excellent fights in the past. He pushed me really, really hard, but I adapted and came out on top in the end, if I may go so far as to say. I don't believe our groups have fought, but I sure would welcome that! We should do group dueling nights so everyone can get to know each other while we work on building up Haderus! :D

    Whoa whoa whoa, not sure I'd be ready to say "came out on top at the end" after one win. Although every fight was a great experience, and an inspiration to dust off my magblade and give him some attention.

    CKA would be down for friendly guild v guild dueling nights, we're currently hyped for ZOS to release official dueling. Everyone in my party had a ton of fun that last time, even some people who have never dueled before got a chance to try it out. Being a streamer and someone who made a name for themselves i expected a little more out of you than a ranting child like post on the forums. You post 1vX videos all the time and its never a problem until you run into players you can't 1vX.     Was pretty tired and exhausted when I made the post - but its not even meant to be insulting.

    You cant string anything out in cyro - gap closers freeze you more often than you are running. You have to pick fights and hope you dont get overwhelmed too badly. The ambush spam is a reality no matter where you go or who/where youre fighting. Theres so many nightblades everywhere you go and its a joke that we go months without any sort of balancing or acknowledgement to address these sort of things.

    I fought AD on there too - there was definitely a larger mass of them than the EP one I fought. Got the same treatment as them, but I dont know anyone from (DIG?) as I was told they were. I dont expect different treatment from haxus, they run me down with 12+ people, but then again, some of their members will come off the side and fight me alone too. Im not calling out people or guilds, Im saying its disappointing you cant find any good fights with good guild members without putting together some large group that is comparatively sized to do so.

    This is a part of the reason Ive largely avoided Cyro, but people that show 3-4 people like theyre good to throw down some difficult fight only to open on you with 3 from sneak after you have to engage - its not even a fight at that point, because they didnt wanna engage in one.

    I disagree that the NB class is "out of hand". There are only four classes to pick from, I think NB is simply a compelling choice. Not to mention that Haderus in particular is largely AD populated, and AD has the two most annoying NB gank races by default.

    As a fellow solo-roamer and also a NB (who doesn't run regen or ambush), I'm still subjugated to the same BS everyone else is. If experienced premonition fails to save me from falling into a typical AD gank trap, that moment when you attack one Templar and 10+ AD (from all classes) unstealth around you. And you get marked and gap close spammed to death, the issue is beyond just NB.

    The thing is you don't have to even be a good player anymore, in a group of 10+ in stealth you are just another cog in the BS wheel. Gap closing solo targets to death.

    But as someone who uses invasion, I have no issue spamming invasion to chase fleeing targets despite a minimum distance with nearly the same effect as ambush.

    This no longer is the type of game where one good player can troll 8 or more decent players, with our without ambush spam. Not saying it's impossible, but it's definitely not 1.6 anymore.

    I'm not discussing theoretical damage and other differences, if I'm in a group with 8-10 players and you stumble across us in stealth. You will not likely escape invasion spam or crit rush spam for that matter, the same way you wouldn't likely escape ambush spam. Not when you start getting focused by so many players, while roll dodging and healing and running.

    Not even taking into consideration the increased stun via distance, and people who cannot roll dodge a lot. Gap closers are just more annoying and effective now, than they were in patches prior. That shouldn't reflect poorly on NB and the players who run the class just because ambush is the most annoying one. ZOS either needs to make it less annoying or revert the gap closer root change (which they claimed was intended). No one complained about ambush spam the way they do now, and yet ambush spam was always a thing to some bad players.

    But regardless of what they do with ambush, small scale players are going to constantly face the reality that groups of players empowered by nerfs, can and will gap close you to death. The best way to survive now is to give yourself room in advanced to escape gap closers. People don't fear ambush spamming NB, because they aren't effective. People get angry, because they know the rest of the players are going to focus you as well and you can only roll dodge and heal so much.

    I've had a few salty tells from you too whenever you're roaming solo or small group and get hunted down by much larger numbers.

    Theres alot of words being said but noone has changed up their actions. Everyone seems to support the idea of small scale on Haderus, yet most people on all factions still running those large groups supposedly to counter some other large group. Condemning the AD groups, or any other, for breaking some agreement to small scale before they ever responded here is ridiculous. Its going to do nothing but further cement the hatred between factions.

    Maybe there needed to be more time and warning for something like this to be set up, but the current measures being taken for 'balance' are disgusting. Wednesday EP had emperor, Roe and Ash were yellow, blue has aleswell and we were battling it out in Ash. It was not a huge seige, there was not a huge defence and there were plenty of small skirmishes in between. Just as the inner wall is about to go down an almost full raid of GoS or CKA came charging through, cleared out the blues sieging and made quick work of the ungrouped AD inside.

    EP continued to train through the last of the inner ring until everything was red again. No problem I thought, its just a new larger group to fight now. Except as soon as they had the inner ring capped again the entire EP raid just got up and left campaign to go back wherever they came from, so quickly that a scroll was just dumped in the field. Not one single EP stayed. AD were pushed back to faregyl, DC to glademist and now the only 2 factions still online would have to PvDoor through ash and roe again to find any action. Like myself, most of the yellow online quit after that and it seems DC did too as nothing was lighting up. The potatoes that think this is what balanced means are just as bad as the AD pugs that push to gates, or any of the other trash faction zergs that have been here in the past.

    I've not been back other then for the odd dolmen farming session, and I don't really want to. There was more small group action to be had before this *** started

    Vastly different skills. Ambush adds an empower and with minimum distance becomes an issue.

    Invasion requires you to slot S&b. You lose out on dmg compared to a Nightblade.

    Yes gap closers need their CC looked at so its not abused, but let's not pretend every class has the advantage of spamming a gap closer like the Nightblade can.

    I'm not discussing theoretical damage and other differences, if I'm in a group with 8-10 players and you stumble across us in stealth. You will not likely escape invasion spam or crit rush spam for that matter, the same way you wouldn't likely escape ambush spam. Not when you start getting focused by so many players, while roll dodging and healing and running.

    Not even taking into consideration the increased stun via distance, and people who cannot roll dodge a lot. Gap closers are just more annoying and effective now, than they were in patches prior. That shouldn't reflect poorly on NB and the players who run the class just because ambush is the most annoying one. ZOS either needs to make it less annoying or revert the gap closer root change (which they claimed was intended). No one complained about ambush spam the way they do now, and yet ambush spam was always a thing to some bad players.

    But regardless of what they do with ambush, small scale players are going to constantly face the reality that groups of players empowered by nerfs, can and will gap close you to death. The best way to survive now is to give yourself room in advanced to escape gap closers. People don't fear ambush spamming NB, because they aren't effective. People get angry, because they know the rest of the players are going to focus you as well and you can only roll dodge and heal so much.

    Quickly read this response and I think we are speaking the same language, just coming from different vantage point.

    I agree gap closers need to be looked at for that CC spam in group settings.

    Was just highlighting Nightblades special condition why many players are pissed.

    DiG was out there last night and we were running approx., 35 players in two groups that for awhile were split up. We ran into Fengrush a few times and others both at keeps and in the open field. Someone was complaining about us sticking to keeps but often as was the case at FARE, it was blue trying to take it only to have the reds come in right after them to do the same, repeat. Which is fine but that explains us sticking close to a keep. DiG grouped up last night only after Deltia got on the server, he was running a full raid and we had tons of fun clashing with him. Also if you don't want us to zerg ball maybe red and blue could clash for a bit, last night it was blue and red for most of primetime assaulting us on the homefront, so that's the response you can expect when we perceive the purple alliance attacking us (whether its planned or not is another story and I assume its not)

    As for small scale PvP, I said that if some people on here would coordinate with me in game we would be happy to help make that happen. Instead of some in-game whispers, all DiG has gotten is threats and hate in this thread. So if you want such a thing try working with us, if not I'm not sure why we would go out of our way to help those that just want to troll us on the forums. My offer still stands and please don't cry about tonight, I warned everyone we will be running 60+ deep tonight as its a weekly event for us.

    Please if you want a few nights a week that are strictly small scale PvP get with me in game and lets make it happen. I can be reached @ Nugelhoff

    I'd say lets try to keep mon -thurs small scale (easier to do since influx of weekend warriors from azura will be less. )

    Salty much? Judging from your post you got a rough ride... so you run to the forums and cry? Being a streamer and someone who made a name for themselves i expected a little more out of you than a ranting child like post on the forums. You post 1vX videos all the time and its never a problem until you run into players you can't 1vX. You think the world stops because @FENGRUSH shows up and everyone is supposed to fall for his sorc tactics and string out so you can pick them off one by one for the sake of your stream or 1vX vid? Welcome to the world of EP on haderus where we are stuck fighting outnumbered 90% of the time. I have to say im truely dissapointed that you of all ppl would make a post like this.     I've had a few salty tells from you too whenever you're roaming solo or small group and get hunted down by much larger numbers.

    Theres alot of words being said but noone has changed up their actions. Everyone seems to support the idea of small scale on Haderus, yet most people on all factions still running those large groups supposedly to counter some other large group. Condemning the AD groups, or any other, for breaking some agreement to small scale before they ever responded here is ridiculous. Its going to do nothing but further cement the hatred between factions.

    Maybe there needed to be more time and warning for something like this to be set up, but the current measures being taken for 'balance' are disgusting. Wednesday EP had emperor, Roe and Ash were yellow, blue has aleswell and we were battling it out in Ash. It was not a huge seige, there was not a huge defence and there were plenty of small skirmishes in between. Just as the inner wall is about to go down an almost full raid of GoS or CKA came charging through, cleared out the blues sieging and made quick work of the ungrouped AD inside.

    EP continued to train through the last of the inner ring until everything was red again. No problem I thought, its just a new larger group to fight now. Except as soon as they had the inner ring capped again the entire EP raid just got up and left campaign to go back wherever they came from, so quickly that a scroll was just dumped in the field. Not one single EP stayed. AD were pushed back to faregyl, DC to glademist and now the only 2 factions still online would have to PvDoor through ash and roe again to find any action. Like myself, most of the yellow online quit after that and it seems DC did too as nothing was lighting up. The potatoes that think this is what balanced means are just as bad as the AD pugs that push to gates, or any of the other trash faction zergs that have been here in the past.

    I've not been back other then for the odd dolmen farming session, and I don't really want to. There was more small group action to be had before this *** started

    hmmm don't remember any salty tells I have sent you....we have had some convo's but that's about it. As for your comments on the ASH thing there was like 12 of us and we had emp and were defending the ring keeps.... VERY far from taking gate keeps with no scrolls or scroll behind those gates then gate camping the ppl behind it... Ring keeps are always fair game. AD seems to think if they get outnumbered once in a blue moon on an inner keep it justifies the gate camping they do. When you come back with some EP gate camping when you have no scroll stories let me know... until then cool story bro. you never hear us complain of AD zerging the inner ring...only the gate keeps its like AD is delusional 24/7

    I am always happy to jump servers and crush enemies gate camping DC, anywhere. My team, if any fields the numbers to easily gate camp probably anyone. Don't make me come out and play. You don't want the wedding dress of glory coming to visit you with 3+ full raids. Promise.

    Personally, I don't understand why you want to ruin everyone's fun. Most large guilds, VE included, have agreed to stay out of Haderus. Going there would have no effect on us because we don't play there- it would just make the remaining playerbase not on Azura's lose whatever respect they had for you.
