Anyone else getting a login error / credentials not recognized even though trial is active?

I'm a returning beta player. I activated my trial code for the free weekend play. I am able to login to my account on the web site just fine, and it does show that it accepted my trial code, and my trial is activated. However, when I try to login through the game launcher, I get a Login Error every time. It keeps saying "Your login information is incorrect. Please try again." I'm using the exact same credentials, so this should not be an issue.

In researching this in the knowledge base, it says this can happen if your trial has not been activated, and yet I received the confirmation email saying it had been, and the web dashboard confirms this as well.

Is anyone else having this problem? If so, have you solved it, and how?

    Also a returning beta player with an issue that is not exactly the same, but might be related. I was able to log in since last night (and was enjoying it btw), but got kicked off and its not letting me back on. it just says it cannot connect, check my internet connection. My connection is working properly.

    Every time I try to play this game there are problems, crashes, stuttering and fps drops, and the last free welcome back weekend I could not even try it at all because the installer would not download faster than 500kbs for anything. It was literally impossible to get the game fully downloaded before the free time ended.

    I was hoping this weekend would go well so I would feel confident finally buying this game, since I love tes as much as I do, but so far I am not impressed. I Cannot even play a solid day without an infuriating issue! >:(

    Sorry to hear about that! I was actually a very happy beta player, and will likely buy ESO at this point. I really did enjoy the game very much, and didn't encounter many problems at all. Not certain what is preventing me from logging in, but I'm sure it will resolve.

    Perhaps take a look here and see if this doesn't help? It really is a great game, and would be a shame if you were unable to enjoy it!

    I have seen that thread, thanks though. I had finally managed to get the game to stop stuttering like it was, and was also enjoying the game, but I had all of 1 hour after fixing the stutter that this happened =\. Not to mention the fact that my fps still drops below 60 at times, in spite of surpassing the requirements, and adjusting some options down in an attempt to buy more frames.

    The weekend is not over, and I still want the game, but, if I cant even get a full day of play in to see the game itself, beyond the technical issues I have already spent literal hours on...then no, I wont spend money on that. That is saying a lot by the way, I have been a huge fan of elder scrolls for well over 10 years now, and always used to joke that if they made an mmo, nobody would ever see me again. But this MMO has done nothing but barrage me with issue after issue, preventing me from ever getting into the game itself. :( I was really hoping this free weekend would finally allow me to get into it. (and I would like to think its what the devs wanted too)

    Very sorry to hear this. I do hope the issue you're encountering corrects itself so you can get in there and have fun with it again, especially given the fact that you're clearly an Elder Scrolls veteran.

    I am also on US servers, there is another thread which is more the issue I am having, but sadly no fix yet. Might as well just play something else and try back later :(
