the main reason a lack of counters. Now before you trolls say "oh but you can CC them" I say CC immunity. Snipe spam can be countered by DKs at will shards spam can be countered by anyone cloak spam can be countered by anyone again all at will. WB cannot be interrupted and after CC they can't be countered for 6 seconds plus any WB spammer with a brain has immovability same with ambush only you cannot do anything at all for that besides block even if you anticipate it coming. I am not crying out for a nerf but instead how about add counters probably in a new weapon skill line like say 1H (no shield).
Proposed skills: counter: instant low damage attack when used on a target channeling a physical ability, deals extra damage and force interrupts them knocking them down for 1.5 seconds ignoring CC immunity. Morph 1 restores stamina Morph 2: Scales off magicka and spell damage can now be used at a distance
Anticipation: 20 seconds if you are targeted by a gap closer automatically evade the attack and return the effects to the enemy. Morph one: deals 20% additional damage. Morph 2: grants major expedition for 8 seconds after countering.
Side Strike: Pierces block dealing 20% more damage to blocking targets. Morph one Shatter: Blocking targets lose armor and spell resistance for 5 seconds. Morph 2 Flank: When used on a blocking enemy up to 3 allies gain minor bezerk and sorcery for 8 seconds
Leaping strike: basic gap closer but has more damage than others due to lack of second weapon or shield. Morph one Raging slash: deals more damage and causes major fracture and minor maim. Morph 2 Nighthawk: Scales of magicka and spell damage, sends a shockwave that hits multiple enemies greatly reducing spell damage of everyone hit.
vital strike: 100% crit hit chance. Morph one assassinate: deals poison and disease damage over time initial damage is still non elemental and is increased Morph 2 Phantom strike: Scales off magicka and spell damage, still procs stealth effects, when you get a successful sneak attack with this move it causes weapon and spell damage of the enemy to be reduced and causes major defile for 8 seconds.
Passives:
1 Duelist: increases damage by 1.5 per point
2 Comeback: Cfter CC breaking gain weapon damage and spell damage for 4-6 seconds
3 unburdened: reduce dodge roll cost
4: Precision: increase weapon and spell crit
5 Spellblade: using an attack that costs stamina increases spell damage for 5-7 seconds
What do you think, sounds better than a nerf right? besides we need a new weapon skill line... Balance may need tweaking.
