When will the lag be fixed in Cyrodiil ? Unplayable 600ms ?

    They are currently looking into the physics engine. Summoning everyone will make them less inclined to look at a post. Not more.

    Ahh, another day, another Cyrodiil lag thread.
    But this one is different, he has actually tagged more ZOS employees than I knew even existed. I'm fairly certain that most of them don't know nor give a flying space goat what a "Cyrodiil lag even is"

    So well done sir, for completely undermining the use of employee tags and further informing them as to why they would be wasting their time checking them.

    ZOS needs to give us an actually deliverable and a deadline we can hold them to.

    For the first year of this game, they ignored PvP and refused to acknowledge the issue of lag. For the second year, they basically said "We acknowledge it and we are working on it."

    The game still Lags.

    These constant lag threads may seem annoying and unnecessary but so is logging in every night to play PvP and getting hit by crippling lag. Actually fix the lag and these threads will go away too.



    And by the way ZOS, stop treating the lighting/anti-botting patch as a sunk cost. Remove it.

    Until the lag continues or AoE caps are removed I have no problem with daily PVP LAG threads.

    The ZOS solution is get a majority of the population to stop playing PvP and this will fix the lag issue!

    Some players are in this game only because of pvp. if they stop playing it means they left for good.
    I have friends who left because of unplayable pvp :'(

    Dont worry , @ZOS will make it up for the inconvenience! Some new pets and mounts will be available soon in crown store . Those will make u all happy (NOT)

    I had a little lag last night and died from it., you know what ? I don't care though lol that's what you get when playing an mmo. I just appreciate being able to play such an awesome game

    Was just on azuras star last night crushing it, alittle lag... Loads of fun.. Stop whining and be PATIENT! Or just return your game, delete your account here and be merry... Either way no one cares.. Those that do should do the same.

    They been working on this for a long time now, if it was an easy fix it would have been fixed by now, I personally think it will never be fixed, only improved to some point, they are working on the physics engine and I think the 64bit client coming next year will help, last ESO live Brian Wheeler explained a little more detail on how the server works in cyrodiil, I suggest everyone take the time to watch this, it is some good information and does help explain some things. I play on lagzura everyday, I would to see the less lag, I just play until the lag gets bad and then I call it a day or move to my guest campaign if there is any action going on.

    lol the lag has been intense over the last week and the slide show even more. I enjoy pvp but when I can avoid a zerg and not take damage but kill others and gaing AP do it its not very rewarding . Templat seems OP in lag situations I guess its Zos tossing us a Xmas gift

    @ZOS promised LARGE scale battles, they need to be able to deliver on what they promised plain and simple. Whether you have large groups balled up or spread out is irrelevant. They STILL advertise large scale battles and need to do what ever it takes to deliver exactly that.

    I really enjoy ESO both PVE and PVP. This could be one of the best games out there IF they can get the PVP lag fixed. The longer that this is a problem, the greater chance that they will lose long term players.

    IF they can't deliver on Large scale battles as advertised, then they NEED TO STOP ADVERTISING IT and create more zones for smaller scale battles that they can deliver.

    It used to be really good now its disaster, you cant even walk normally...

    I'm from the days of dial-up internet so I probably have a little more patience with lag, but the thing that annoys me is I have the hardest time targeting dead teammates to res when it gets super laggy. Aside from that it kind of reminds me of my rave days when it gets all jumpy and colorful, so there's that. Silver linings and whatnot. I'm sure they'll find a fix eventually. We've crowed about it enough to get their attention.

    @Yolokin_Swagonborn to be fair, they didn't completely ignore the lag in PVP. There was that time they said it was us, and told us to disable all of our add-ons and reset our routers, and that if that didn't work it must be because we were running subpar hardware.

    We all predicted then the lag would get attention after console lunch, when everyone running standardized hardware had the same problems. We were right.
