After a few months off i've decided to come back in tamriel but i cant stay connected for more than 5 minutes , evry time i do someting random ( from enter buildings to talk to NPC ) i have a 50% chance that the game crashes to dextop and is quite annoing expecially since i've planned my comeback with a 180 days subscription already payed and with very little time to play.
Today session was planned to be 1 h , probably the only hour of the day and i've spendt maybe 10 minutes consecutive in game, the rest was: Log in > Loading screen > choose character > loading screen > 2 Minutes of play > crash > log in > and on and on .

If it was a server issue more people would be saying the same thing. I believe it is more of an issue with your net, system, security (something along those lines) You did not mention that you have checked all possible reasons so it is an assumption that it could be your connection and not the game server.

I'm using the same PC setting as 2 months ago and i've played for over a year without issues i'm not telling that is a server issue and yes by my powers of not super nerd i've cecked all the possible solutions, you know this section is called "PC TECNICAL SUPPORT" for a reason...

Post just complain to complain or are you asking for help troubleshooting?

If the latter, post some helpful info so people can help you.

    If the former, QQ

check user settings in 'documents/eso/liveeu' - find a line that says something like use graphics 'D3D9' - change it to 'D3D11'.

If you get no error at all when it crashes, I would suggest you look up how to use memtest86 and test your ram, sounds to me like your ram went bad.

I had intermittent connection issues during gaming and it turned out it was the lines coming to my house were old. Another time it was a splitter under the house that went bad. It was something a technician obviously had to fix. I am at times able to solve most of my connection issues by using tools from measurementlab (Google it if you're interested) Hope you get it sorted.

Since he brought that up, heard a mix of things good and bad on Win 10 for TeamSpeak and other stuff.

All I use this computer for is gaming, and the only game I have time for anymore is ESO... I run Win 8 and have no issues so should I roll with the "if it aint broke don't fix it" and just keep clicking off the "update now for free, etc." pop ups?

O well as usual i really love the ESO customer support...

    Greetings,

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited support team. We are excited that you’re enjoying the game and reaching out to us for assistance. Online multi-player games are very complex and we understand that you might need a little extra help with your adventuring in Tamriel.

For most in-game issues such missing NPCs or quests not advancing correctly, you can resolve them yourself by logging out for five minutes then logging back in. This will load you into a new game instance and refresh your surroundings. Please make sure you’ve attempted that first!

If you have a question about gameplay such as how certain items or character abilities work, we encourage you to check our official forums which are a great resource for in-game mechanics: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en

Is gonna be a loooooong week...

I hear ya. Have you tried to run the game consultant? See if any hardware issues pop up?

    Update:

Not thaks to the eso support btw
I've tried different solutions and the one that "solve" (at least is playable) the problem is to tune down the video settings to low and to switch in windowed fullscreen, is strange since my rig is far above the sistem requirements (i7 3820, 780 ti with the latest drivers , 16 gigs of ram) I've readed that it can be something related to the nvidia drivers or to the graphics settings.
    Any help?
