I have mark reapers mark for that, i have no issues with tanking mobs or bosses im in the process of refining the build - had vigor on my off bar but never needed it for my self, only time i had to proc it was falling from lord wardens portal on vet to buff all.
Think i will stick to the shades and supprise attack combo, if low on stam i spam health funnel with syphon attacks up as well as caltrops

well im tanking vet imp city with my 2h spec and took about 30min to clear prison only a few deaths by an unlucky dps. My set up is:

Blur
Running 5 white strikes and 3 song 251 cp on ps4 - works fine 20 points in health rest in stam

Hmm that works pretty well from what I can tell. Heals to help the healer and debuffs and snares to help the DPSers and that is the moral of the story kids. Tanks are meant to control the battle and give support for his/her allies while weakening the enemies defenses.
To bad this doesn't work in PVP at all thanks to purge.rapids and burst damage being much better than anything in the game.
