Aoife32001✭✭✭✭ESO is one of my favorite MMOs, but then again, I've only played 3.... I think my expectations for ESO were too high because I'm a huge TES fan, and I was somewhat let down by ESO. That being said, though, it is overall a good game and I'm planning on playing it for the foreseeable future.

Digiman✭✭✭✭✭I hear so much negativity about this game (much of it unjustified imho), that I thought I'd check the other end of the scale. Who loves ESO?!
It's the game I love to hate it. The abusive game you crawl back to for difficulty without it looking like a Tim burton game with all the whimsy surgically removed.
Really the only other MMO that competes with this SWTOR, both a different types of MMO's though I love SWTOR story telling over ESO.
Seriously, subtitles and the dialogue should have had settings you could adjust to have that skyrim feel.0 -

Favorite MMO yes .I have at least 3 times as many hours played in TESO than any other MMO I have played.
@PBpsy this is a pretty good list, with the exception of Warcraft, Dragon Age and Witcher my list would basically be the same. Any of the old Interplay/Black Isle games were fantastic, Planescape being my favourite.
I would probably add Legend of Grimrock 1 & 2 to my list however as they really captured my heart with the challenging puzzles and story.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

This, but playing since release, they have filled in some parts of that. To me it feels the game is going in the right direction. Wrothgar shortly gave me the feeling I had when I started the game for the first time, I hope future content whether it be pvp updates or pve updates will be of that quality.
Craglorn was a let down for me, mainly cause of the state it was in when it first came out. Upper craglorn was better, but really felt like more of the same.
Imperial city is actually amazing, but lacks motivation to stay there. This place needs either more stuff to buy with tel var stones or daily quests that force people to pvp tactically instead of gank, gank, gank.
For example, Molag Bal (10 times stronger as he is now) spawns in 15 minutes! Wouldn't that be a nice party?

When I saw the ME2 launch trailer, I run directly to the store when it ended. It was indeed awesome.

Now, after all these changes? I hardly play anymore, much less spend money on it.I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.0 -

I came late to the gaming world when I broke down and bought a PS3 in 2013 with the intent of playing God of War but ended up discovering DCUO and then played it obsessively for almost two years including buying a PS4 specifically for DCUO- however, I left when the devs decided it was ok to openly disparage and discourage solo players. Moved on to Shadow of Mordor but became bored quickly... then came Dragon Age: Inquisition... LOVED IT. Played obsessively for six months until on a whim, decided to try the PC version of ESO- haven't left the game since (although I do have the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLCs along with Batman: Arkham waiting for me on PS4 should ESO disappoint anytime soon).
So with my limited experience it is difficult for me to say... but as of now ESO is my sole focus and with Orsinium, I'm overall happy with the direction of the game. My top Fav MMO`s would be EQ, WOW , , DAOC and Warhammer Online.
This game needs a lot of fixes, some that have plagued it since release 2014 not sure what it is, but the game doesn`t pull me in like it should, and I even played Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.
The game tries to be both a MMO and a single player + CO feel to it , and thats ok I guess but i wish they would have went one path or the other instead of trying to do both.

Softpad✭✭I enjoy this game immensely, the flexibility to adopts different tactics and methods are great. I enjoy the puzzles that are present in the game and questing. I think the best point is that the community while playing has such a positive attitude towards each other (game was released on my birthday 2 1/2 years ago and I have had only 2 bad experiences really). It makes my day shine when that is combined with he game.0 -
