If I'm going to buy the bites for 1500 crowns then...

The skill line should at least be fully leveled. Why would I pay around 15$ just to get a bite when I can easily buy it ingame for 3000 gold or even get it free sometimes.

If not then it should be around 500 crowns only but 1500 is way too much.

Also the skill lines are not even that good after all the nerfs.

This just doesn't make sense.

    That's the point.

Paying $15 for a bite is just silliness. And the skill line should certainly not be fully levelled if you buy it.

Buying a bit is dumb if your going to spend extra money on it to get it but I see how it could be a good option if someone was to just spend tthere crowns they get with there eso plus membership sometimes there isn't anything else to buy in the crownstore you don't already got and a person may have extra crowns they want to spend on something

there is always definitly something better to buy for 1500 crowns than a bite no matter what. just a skin or a mount. 2 bites= 1 full dlc

I'll probably buy it if I ever want to try it out on a new character sometime. I don't know anyone who could give it to me for free and to be blunt, I don't really like people, so I'd rather not ask someone I don't know. Call me a fool or whatever you wish, I don't really care.

Still, I wish it'd let me do the quest at least if I do eventually get it.

If you are in a guild, it's usually pretty easy to get a free bite, even from complete strangers. Just ask. I got both free like this.

The whole point is for convenience. That is why the quest is skipped.

Do it the old fashioned way then Robo. Get bit by the in-game spawns and then you can do the quest, no live players needed :)

It is scaled down, I've had the mobs at a much lower level than 38 before, it's even counted as a solo instance when loading in.

Taken me about 10 mins of mobs in IC to get vamp level 3.

I actually DID buy a bite, for a few reasons.

I bought 10k crowns for 20 quid in the sale, I just transfered to pc so wanted a couple of my favorite costumes and mounts.

I subside to eso plus so got another 1500 crowns ontop of that.

Out of that it cost less than £2.50 , which is less aggro for me than running to a vampire shrine, and arguing with someone for half an hour thst I'll pay after the bite, I refuse to pay first after having someone scam me previously.

I've had vamp on 3 characters on ps4 so I've done the quest plenty of times, 2.50 to save the hassle of leaving the sewers, porting to bangkorai , asking for bite for half hour (or maybe longer if not peak times) then doing the same quest again.

    To me that's good value

I got the bite for one of my characters, level 43, from my GL for free. I bought a second one from the crown store and here's why. The character was level 6, and I wanted it to be part of her story. I'm not paying a player for a bite. I've been disgusted with that since day one of people selling them for 10K gold. I'm given 1500 coins for my sub.

I also don't agree with the OP, the point is you are getting the bite. I enjoy the leveling up process. Also for the one{s) who' are calling people who spend their crowns any way they want fools...well I won't tell you what I think about that comment, I'd get banned.

I have 18.000 Crowns, which I never bought and never wanted. I subscribe since launch for the same reason, I want all ESO have to offer. (Without buying anything....you know, earn it).

Nothing in the store interests me.

I am serious now, but I would like an ANTI EXP potion. The level speed is stupid fast.
I have no suggestion what would be good for me in any crownstore, since buying to win is the opposite reason why I play the game. I like choices where you live with it. I like earning my things in a longer time period. I wouldnt want to buy anything.

The crownstore is good for ZoS to earn cash, to keep developing the game. But I wish they put something there worth buying.
The subscription gives me access to everything so I dont "need" to buy DLC. I dont WANT the plus benefits.

Some players say HOUSING.....sure, but why the hell for crowns? Barber shop was talked about over a year ago. Long before the crown store. Why pay for that?

The only thing I could use crowns for is giving it to friends who might quit/or start the game, but nope.

Everything in the game I want to earn, not buy. Would be nice to have something to spend these damn crowns on.

"I'm not paying a player for a bite."

Why don't you do what I do and actually look for a bloodfiend or werewolf, most players completely miss the start of the quest where you meet a shady looking character tewlling you that you have been attacked by a vampire/werewolf and that they have been awaiting the time you would join them and then directing you to meet their fellow vampire/werewolf at the shrine so they can take you to Lamae Bal/Hircine.

Maybe if you could buy a vampire lord or what ever the equivalent is in werewolf, it might be worth it. I'm ps4 and have both on alts I don't use anymore and give away free bites any time anyone asks me.

First you have to be attacked which means you have to camp spawn points and you have to be there at just the right time. Most of us have work, family, etc. We can't just be logged on for hours standing around in a spawn point expected them to spawn. I did that for 4 days (vampire). I wasn't going to do it more.

That's because most people want to charge for the bites and are butt sore over having that taken away from them. What people do with their crowns is their own business. Calling names over it is ridiculous. People can spend their entertainment money any way they choose.

I spent 4 RL days at a spawn point and asking in zone chat for a vamp bite. My GL finally did it for me when he leveled up enough to do it. I can see others not wanting to go through all that trouble just to be able to the play the game how they want.

If people want to spend the money on it, that's up to them.

Personally, I did spend the time for the toon I wanted to be a WW and ran around the Rift and Bangkorai every time it was night in-game. Didn't camp spots, just spent half an hour or so looking. Took me a few weeks, but I got it.

For my vamp, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. It was night, I figured I'd check to see if I could find a spawn and found one in a spot I had previously discovered on my first try.

I have friends who were offered free bites walking by the respective shrines. I think it's a fun aspect of the game, but if people want to pay a considerable amount of money to by-pass it, that's their problem, not mine.

I might buy it, because with newer chars it's nearly impossible to complete the Werewolf quest at least for me and I really don't feel like waiting until level 38 to even try it. Gina Bruno mentioned in a previous thread that if you buy it bypasses the quest, otherwise I probably wouldn't even consider it.
