Here are some additional issues we’re considering based on your feedback from this thread:
• Cone abilities are much harder to hit with than a standard circle, but aren't more effective
• Multiple gap closers used on the same target means they can’t move
• Cammo hunter stealth attacks can double proc, killing targets very quickly
• Force pulse counts as 3 reflects against Reflective Scales
• Retreating Maneuver buff sticks on healers while they are casting
• XP to advance Assault and Support skill lines is very high

I wouldn't say you have to re-roll a whole new class or that Vampire's are useless. I would say that its a L2P issue and I would recommend that you research builds or play styles that fit a Templar Vampire.

If you cant instakill all vampires with sneak attack + Camoflage Hunter, you're the one with l2p issues that needs to "research builds". It's not exactly hard.
Pure gankers can still pull of vampire in PvP, because wont get insta-killed as frequently when always hiding in stealth. Also sorc's with 100% uptime on Hardened Ward up v.s sneak attacks, can do vamp if they're experienced players.
Everyone else is a sitting duck, including 40k health emperors.

Such hostility when you basically agree with me.
First thing you said states that its still possible to one shot people. My first statement is saying I one shot people. Second thing you said is Pure gankers can still pull it off. My second like is saying my BM Vamp can pull it off.
So, why you are so angry is beyond me. XD It is a L2P issue. He needs to look up how those "pure gankers" are using it.

Stop using the L2p issue quote when you're a nobody. I don't need to look a damn I just want to know what people think about being a vampire nowdays. It doesn't fit my playstyle that much that's why Im thinking about curing it.

I'm not the only person who has told you to L2P. I'm giving advice not just to you, but anyone who comes to this thread who is about to stop being a Vampire so they can give some other stuff a try. Believe it or not, some people don't think about looking it up other then on forums where people complain. Excuse me for trying to help. LOL

Can't believe how you people find an excuse to type ''l2p'' on every freaking thread out there.
L2p is not an attempt to help, is just a quote that makes you feel like a better player that you are.

Wait. What do you mean "you people"?
And honestly, there's no better way to describe this. You don't know the ends and outs of something, then you need to learn them. Which is learning how to play them. So, L2P?
And where L2P is a blanket term for real advice, I did offer some recommendations following my L2P.
And furthermore, I'm not here to baby you. So if you can't handle blunt posting, then don't post online. Anywhere.

I was thinking about getting rid of it, but then I'd miss the upsides of being a vamp:
- Damage Mitigation when under 50% HP
- Devouring Swarm = Best ultimate in the game (I could use Clouding due to being a NB, but it's my main anti-zerg move along with Sap Essence)
- Faster Sneak Speed
- A bite available every week (some ppl make $$ from this, I don't charge anything for my bites)
- Fire Damage can be gotten rid off with Elemental Defender CP
True, FG skills hurt a lot still (Camo Hunter yeah >.> ), but then again it's also a great move for me to use as a MagBlade
Vamps still have plenty of upsides, but it wouldn't hurt if ZOS could have a look at the skill line and improve it a little
I'm still not so sure with my temp, which would you say is better for pvp? Clouding or devouring swarm?
Clouding 'seems' better, since ive already got self heals, but the few times I've used it ice been perma stunned each time, one time I uses it i recieved a wrecking blow which stunned me, the other a dk was spamming talons, so the entire thing felt wasted.
But devouring doesn't seem as beneficial to a class with good sustainable healing, the self heal from devouring swarm doesn't seem that stronf, unless someone could give some decent numbers for 1v1 or 1v2 for instance?
Finally another issue with clouding swarm is my biting jabs etc never seems to land, I even tested it in pve against zombies and over half my jabs didn't actually do any damage or land, hell in one pvp match I cast clouding swarm I literially cast jabs 4 or 5 times against a target that was CC'd and not a single jab landed, I was correctly distanced and moving myself in an attempt to do something but had no luck.
If you run PVE and PVP but are not a Sorc, I say flatly no. Unless you are at 501, with a solid group to regularly play with it's likely you'll just fold to the massive amounts of fire damage in PVE. Vamps I know who PVE rely on Hardened Ward and/or short encounters thanks to high dps, along with great support from top notch tanks and healers. If they lose any of those elements playerwise, getting through content with fire damage can be grueling.
As for PVP only. Rapid Maneuvers can cover some of the mobility issues that Mistform solves. I'm hopeful for a generic magicka movement speed increasing skill from Thief's Guild but that's a bit off-topic. Anyhow, I have trouble justifying vampire anymore. Since you need a skill slotted on both bars for the regen, with the increased damage from passives and skills being a lot to mitigate. Batswarm is pretty much what you're bartered for since Mistform is often buggy.
