Every now and then I like to just kick back somewhere in-game and goof off. I do this by using emotes, spamming skills, playing around with movement controls and mounts, or even climbing to ridiculous heights to show off that I can XD

So how about you? Do you do any of this stuff or is it just the straight arrow to the knee gameplay only for you?

    In LoTRO I'd walk up to random NPCs or even sometimes other players and use the /burp emote.. :P Too bad we can't do anything like that in ESO...

    I use Spit from high places if that's any consolation :p Think I'll take some Mystery Meat with me next time though... >:)

    Pretty much all the time. It's why my highest level character is only 47, from early start.

    (well that and I don't exactly play games all the time, nor this one when I do)

    between trying to find time to RP with friends and do daily pledges and do leveling and actually make a little gold on the side?

    ...I guess you could call RPing “goofing off” (becauseI totally would). so, yeah, I guess I do. I don't run about spamming skills and emotes though. :blush:

    I keep the novelty items I get on my main but sell any I get on alts as those are just extra.

    Yeah I muck around with emotes all the time, particularly with my Redguard. I find the Redguard dance hilarious with all its backside shaking (I'm hoping that's ok to say!) so he's pretty much been shaking it all over the Covenant :D . Also playing the lute in the middle of intense moments and serenading random NPCs, because clearly people will overlook his vampirism if he can lay down some sweet tunes B).

    All the time. I find I have most fun in RPGs (MMO or otherwise) when I have a general goal in mind and then just let myself do whatever I feel like along the way.

    So it's very common for me to be on my way to complete a quest and then I end up trying to climb some random cliff or tree or house I came across, or just wandering down the coast to see what's there, or way over on the other side of the map because I saw something that looked interesting.

    For the most part, I consider fishing to be goofing off, since I don't often get rare fish or perfect roe. It's mostly just for taking a break and enjoying the scenery.

    I once tried to jump up to where the Thief's Apex stone is, just to see if it was possible. (For the record: I didn't make it. I've considered trying again with my Dragonknight...)

    I'll lean on a lamp post and flip my coin,or throw water on people. Cant help it.
    I also jumped off that one damned water fall in Orsinium for an achievement at least 7 times for fun.Nope.Didnt get the achievement yet.

    I had to actually look into how to do the achievement because it turns out there is a specific way you have to drop. You walk off the edge from the left side of the NPC and fall into the pool at the waterfall's base. Kind of lame you have to do it a certain way but eh...

    Yea sure, always do quirky things to pass time, when nothing is going on, one thing I find fun is setting siege on fire when some one is using it, then sneak up and vampire feed on an enemy player, and get away, to me that goofing in pvp... :) Explore, search things and talk to npc's, some of them say some funny lines.

    I like using all my trophies in Daggerfall with all the new players who don't know what's going on. It's quite a bit of fun :p

    Yeah I sometimes run around and save a lower level player from AI based enemies. kind of funny as I always seem to pop up to save them at the last minute as a hit or two and they would have had to use a soul gem or respawn at a wayshrine. I actually go around talk to NPC's, read books, cook, drink a lot, sweep the streets, and try to find out if there are other Orcs on Ebonheart Pact Xbox One NA server as that's my characters race currently. I also do a lot of random stuff and sometimes other players characters look at me like I'm a nutcase It's actually kind of funny.
