Where the frack is M'aiq in Alik'r Desert?

I've gone to all the spots listed as possible M'aiq locations. I've easily found him in every other zone but not the flipping Alik'r Desert. Is there some trick to finding him there? Like maybe he only shows up at night? Or is his appearance in the Alik'r another in the long line of broken achievements that can't actually be finished?

Strangely enough, Alik'r was the one M'aiq I took longest to find as well. Finally spotted him in the end, hiding over a dwelve in the south-east corner... but he keeps switching between locations, so you may have to run around a bit, check every one you know of, see which one he's at on any given day...

He can also be near the coast, west of Sentinel

Alikir was a zone where I just went and did circuits of all his locations, they are fairly close to the WS's. Even then, it was several visits to that zone before I found him. 2 of my characters had a beast of a time finding him two of them stumbled upon him just doing stuff up there.

Note, one of the locations, he is inside the tower, not outside. And one time I saw him upstairs in the tower, and another time, up in the rocks near the tower. That was a while ago, so not sure if he has settled down or not.

Yeah, I remember finding him in the tower on one of my toons. I checked and 2 of them have found him in Alik'r but my current toon can't. Apparently there's a 4th location not currently shown on the Destinations addon west of Sentinel. I'll check there as well. Damn cat.

Yes he is a little difficult in that zone. Perservere, he'll show up...eventually

FINALLY!

He was at Easterly Aerie.. I've been searching every place in Alik'r for 5 days and finally that damn cat showed up.. Liar's Linen unlocked.

Hmmm...I think the only place I HAVE found him was in Alik'r! I've never actually loooked for him but since I apparently have the hard part out of the way maybe I should start!
