    @Xendyn EVERY Canadian giveaway says that... usually they write the answer on the draw box though. It's usually something ridiculous like "10 + 10 x 2 =" It's a Canada thing, not a ZOS thing

    you get 50k a year for 20 years (according to thier rules) so thats,

    $4166.66 a month ...

    about $1041 a week, so ruffly youd make about what a secretary makes here at my job.

    Perhaps I could serve as a liaison between ZOS and Microsoft to get a true addon workshop going on that platform.

    Getting the greenlight for Fallout 4 was a promising step. Never say never!

    I am never negative on these forums and spend most of my time fanboying all over the place, but this is probably the one time that I strongly disagree with ZOS. Its just an excessive price and the money could be used in better ways. Beyond that, a large part of the playerbase is excluded from participating. I am sure they expected some backlash from this. $1M is more than most televised gameshows give away!

    if i won that mil, i'd not even use it all, i'd end up just helping out my mum and sis and getting a basic bungalo so i can continue caring for her while she's still able to walk, rest would be used for my future and maaaybe some crown packs, just so i can have the shinies :)

    This one peers in from the outside and decides its a hint of where they think all their players are - whole continents ignored - checks if allowed to inspect the pockets of the winners - just to check the quality of the crowns you know.

    So if the rest of the world cannot participate then why then why not be eligible for a crown store win ? Surely you can give away crowns without breaking any laws?

    eg. "Due to country restrictions you are not eligible to win the million dollars but as a gesture of our kindness you are eligible to win 3000 crowns"

    nothing prohibiting it.... ZOS just didn't setup their website properly for it to recognize the countries and states.

    Lol no it's not that. If it's not prohibited it might be expensive or just too much work to allow the contest in those states.

    Yeah, even having a bunch of smaller prizes over 30 days would have been better. Things like in-game GMs selecting random players and giving them free crowns, costumes, motifs, etc. would have been better for the game.

    Those prizes are useless to people who haven't played since around PC launch. That won't bring them back. Costumes? As someone who loves the game, I have zero interest in a costume. Not sure how that excites someone who abandoned the game over a year ago.
