I'm looking to create a new Dunmer DK. I want to go Dunmner so I can switch back and forth between stamina and magicka when the gameplay gets redundant and I need to switch things up. Should I stick with lore and play in the EP? My other characters are in the DC and I haven't played AD. I would like to experience some of the other zones, but should I be waiting until I hit the vet levels to do so? Thanks.

Ultrabored1✭✭Well Im not an expert on DKs but I do know they use both stam and magika enough. As to what faction dont worry to much about it. EP currently is the most populated faction especially in pvp. This is talking from ps4 im sure its similar on other console and pc. As per the experience you will as you said experience the other sides as you finish the main story stuff then onto cadwells silver and gold. If I were you i would just choose the faction you have friends on unless you want to make new people to play with really.810 Cp Stamina- Nightblade, Dragonknight, Necromancer

Dunmer is the "jack of all trades" race. Can be very good (although not excellent) being magicka or stamina based
Currently I'm running a sort of off tank being more dps oriented in one bar, and AoE in the other (PVE), while I'm building a DK archer too.
Things to consider
1- Fire is your friend, no matter if it is through flame talons, or scorched earth or even shooting star.
2- the 6% extra stamina or the 9% extra magicka are useful even if you are playing the opposite. If you go for a s/b magicka DK, remember to bash whenever you can. Same as if you go for the stamina class, a magicka root is always necessary
3- Being a DK vampire dunmer is always a good option if you play it wright. That extra mitigation for flame based atacks is quite useful.
