No More Rubedo Hide Scraps? (PC/EU)

Just wondering if someone has removed all these from game (presumably by mistake) - I have been roaming Wrothgar for several hours and getting 100% Shadowhide from dead creature drops (yes I am VR16, yes I have max crafting skills, thanks for asking).
I get that for some reason you want the drop rates for ruby mats to be criminally low all over (~25% is pretty poor for the other mats and never seeing VR16 runes in a VR16 area is also pretty weak) but 0% seems perhaps, in my humble opinion, a little too low?
To be totally fair I did get a glorious single piece of this in my hireling delivery so between that and the occasional de-construct I may be able to make a set of armour by Christmas... 2016...

remedios17✭✭✭I found a couple of them recently, so I don't think so. But the drop rates are indeed super low.

✭✭Heh, I have been subbed from day 1 so I'd hope I'd earned some credit by now
But, while it's nice to know they are still in game, I must be hitting statistically improbably levels of awful RNG with over 200 shadowhide scraps to 0 rubedo... makes it all seem a little futile...0 -

It's like those people who get 0 undaunted helm drops, as compared to the people who get one every second run. Me thinks the randomiser is broken...I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...

Why am I getting raw hide on every single creature I kill. Even though I am a master crafter level 50 in clothing and vr16. I don't even get shadow hide much less rubedo...only raw hide!0

✭I find that Rubedo scraps drop most off the mobs in and around the far south and north of Wrothgar, like Old Orsinium and Rzdeltbdeltistan (or whatever it's called).
I was looking for Ancient Orc Motifs and got one, and only one.
Gee, I wonder why the drop rate is so low....maybe to push me toward buying the Ancient Orc Motif when it hit's the crown store? But ZoS wouldn't create **** drop rates just to push me toward buying it with crowns, right? Right? Nah, they wouldn't do that.0 -
