Is using this particular combination of sets a good idea?

I'm going to be using a build focusing on stamina and weapon damage. The sets I've chosen are Hunding's Rage and Ashen Grip.

My first skill bar uses dual swords, my second uses a bow.

Ashen grip on 3 pieces of armor and the dual swords, Hunding's Rage on 4 pieces of armor and the bow.

This way, I have a different 5 piece bonus depending on what weapon I'm using.

If I'm using my swords, I'll have the 2-4 piece bonus of Hunding's Rage, along with all the bonuses of Ashen Grip. Basically, I have a 10% chance to spew fire on my opponents whenever I hit them with a melee attack (which would be useless if I was wielding a bow).

If I'm using a bow, I'll have the 2 and 3 piece bonus of Ashen Grip, while getting the raw weapon damage increase from Hunding's Rage.

I just wanted to ask if this seems like I've thought it through properly. Are there any gaping holes I haven't accounted for?

What level are you? Most players at endgame go for the raw damage instead of fancy effects like fire breathing. While leveling it's perfectly fine to have some fun with it. I have done the same before.

At endgame you'll maximize your loadout by finding the perfect combination of all available set piece bonuses, so that it maximizes your damage, resource pool and resource gain. There are tons of guides out there. Deltia's Gaming is a good place to start.

I'm just asking if I've made a good choice. This is actually for endgame stuff, I just thought that the occasional extra fire damage would be useful with dual swords (hoping to use weighted traits on both swords to maximize damage output, is that a good idea?).

Weighted is not worth using as-is, as the speed increase is very, very minor, is capped at 30% and only affects your light/heavy attacks.

Any other way of increasing attack speed? Also, what traits would you recommend for dual swords on a stamina build?

Depending on your build, I'd go with these:

-Precise for the crit bonus if you have a high crit build, and especially Briarheart armour.
-Defending if you have a high defense build
-Nirnhoned if you need the spell resist+pen
-Sharpened if you need more overall penetration
-Infused if you feel you really want the enchant to do more damage, but otherwise powered would be best for an enchant-focused trait.

Basically for your build the best would probably be Precise or Sharpened, but Defending can always be good.

Youll want to use 5 pieces of hundings and 2 piece night mothers gaze on your armor. For weapons you want a precise dagger/sword (either is fine) a sharpened a mace and a sharpened bow, all night mothers. That way when you switch b/t bow and dual wield, you only lose ~ 3% weapon crit instead of losing weapon damage.
Me: It's[WB spamming DK] a really cheesy build
Guildy: I like cheese with my wine, and WB creates some really good wine.

    nope.
hundings is fine but you´ll want the 5 pieces bnonus active all the time.
complement it with pieces of molag kena, bloodspawn(if ment for pvp), agility set and endurance.
and evtl. reiterate the valueness af DW+bow in terms of efectivity over style in comparison with other combinations...
