Flurry skill

I couldn't find much info on this skill other then a topic from over a year ago saying the skill is complete junk and basic attacks end up being more damage overall, and when the skill finishes there is a delay.

Before I try making a dual wield stamina dk I was curious if anything changed since? Is this a pretty good dps skill worth picking up or not?

    Lol that is true. Looks like it's actually slightly better dps then biting jabs, and that's not bad.

    Jabs are area dmg, Flurry is single target.

    I've heard it's good dps in PvE though. I'd love to use it more, but I'm simply more comfortable with Jabs.

    I actually get better dps with jabs. Really not sure how, maybe it is just a faster skill, but even single target jabs hits harder for me.

    Burning Light gives Jabs extra dmg.

    Flurry is great overall DPS. Downside is it's a casting skill, but at the same time that can be a boon if using the proper set(s).

    If I had to rate the Dual Wield skills based on how useful I believe they are, I'd rank Flurry 3rd. Then again, I just plain like Flying Blade :D


    Here's a little trick in case anyone doesn't know about it though: If you are chaining Flurries one after another press the button to use it again right when the 5th jab lands. You will still do the 6th and immediately begin using the skill again at the same time!

    Came for hot Khajiit RP. Re-read title... Someone off-put.

    To the OP: FLurry has it's place in the morph that has a chance to put the target off balance with every hit, in a build with a lot of exploitation procs that affect off balanced enemies.

    Also as others have mentioned, if you start holding/charging a heavy attack right after starting Flurry, the heavy attack will hit almost at the exact same second as the last big hit from Flurry which CAN be good burst DPS in a clutch.

    I still wish they changed the channel time to like 0.5 second's. I wanna see super quick jab's. Not this slow *** we get now.

    I just want each hit to count as an attack that can crit, not a DOT, so that it procs Crit Surge and Briarthorns.

    Blinding Flurry is the morph you speak of, and I prefer that one too lol

    If they did that they would have to nerf the damage to compensate.

    You're seriously right. It is laughable that this is a DoT, like e.g. bleeding. These are SEPARATE attacks/hits, not just ONE hit that causes some other damage over the time, and you can do anything while this time lapses.
