So we can't use group finder?

I ran my first dungeon yesterday, lvl 11 Templar healer. I que'd up and got put in the group with a 14 dps, 34 dps, and 43 tank.
the dungeon was scaled up to v16
Though it was indeed difficult, we did manage to complete it with a ton of deaths. (i believe it was the sewer dungeon ?)
Just took me looking up a guide on google and explaining the mechanics to the team.

May i also mention that i didnt even have all gear slots slotted with gear. i believe i was missing 3 pieces.

So yes i agree that the scaling needs work (especially with the amount of mobs that you may encounter in one group vs the lack off skills most of us low levels have.), But it is still doable at lvl10.

Will just require a lot of patience and soul gems.

    1. At those levels you should be able to solo all dungeons on normal difficulty
    2. If you can't solo or your buddy and you can't defeat it, level your character to 30s then try again
    3. If you still can't complete get to v16 with gear and cps then get in a group

At such a low level I don't understand trying to join higher levels to complete the dungeons. Learn, get better gear and level up. Then take on the dungeons

Who is this aimed at? How are you supposed to solo group dungeons at any level considering that the instances scale to the group leader? A few v16 players can probably solo a v16 group dungeon. Many v16 players can solo a v1 dungeon, if they get a friend in to artificially lower the level. Other than this, your advice is bizarre.

It's worth running group dungeons as early as possible to get the skill points for completing them for the first time. The lowest possible level of each dungeon is as follows:
    Tier 1 - level 10
    Tier 2 - level 17
    Tier 3 - level 24
    Tier 4 - level 31
    Tier 5 - level 38
Vaults of Madness - level 45

Those 3 extra skill points for running Spindleclutch, Banished Cells, and Fungal Grotto make a huge difference to a level 10 character.

They should have done similar to FFVIV's system where it encourages higher levels to queue for a random low level dungeon and gives them rewards for doing so. The system scales you down to the intended level of the dungeon, not scaling everyone to max level.

This helps out low levels looking to complete their dungeons and the higher levels get a daily reward for the queue.

I personally have not experienced any issue with the scaling, but I haven't leveled a really low level character in a while.

Daily undaunted run allows this already. You just group up (hopefully with someone in your alliance), regroup with the lower person as lead and have them enter the dungeon first. The mobs are scaled to their level. Takes a little work, but I've done it several times now and gotten my reward.
