Just purchase a house is too mainstream. Give me a ground (or a beach) and I'll build my home, brick by brick, board by board. It's an endgame for Roleplayers.
PS: Oh and also some living things in the house. Cat, dog, chickens, parrots, horses, cows, guars, a ghost that live in the basement...
PPS: And more chests to put my things. And more trophies to decorate my house.
There are many things I would like to see in player/guild housing. Places to put your trophies, stolen items, storage chests, ect. BUT I just had a horrible idea, what if.... player/guild housing would be a lot like guild traders, where you have to bid on a house every so often OR , at the rate it is going, they could add player/guild housing in with a DLC and you must have the DLC in order to get/enter player/guild housing.

I dont care about player houses in any game, but extra bank space would be nice. So I can hoard all these useless items like Aether set or unique stolen items (I've got a shard of Ideal Masters and vein of the Hearth of Lorkhan)

Another little flavorful addition would be allowing your selected pet to roam the premises. Nothing special, just walking/trotting/whatever.
