I am guilty of doing this occasionally. I am not very skilled at fighting other people (sometimes I die, sometimes I kill, and sometimes I just run for my life) so I see piercing mark as a means to bluff another faction player into thinking "danger" is there, hoping they run away

That sudden, random drop to 10 FPS that requires you to restart your game client every time and is even present at the character load screen after logging out somehow. This same problem that used to only plague Cyrodiil but at some point mysteriously bled over to the rest of the game.

The stupidity and whinage from my own alliance zone chat (PACT) scares me the most.
I agree on the problems, but I cant HANDLE this constant whining!

It does freak me out when someone seriously accuse other players for lagging on purpose, or hacking the server.
These are no kids who says this. Adult players who think santa claus still deliver the stork with presents for new year.

being constantly knocked down and unable to move while the magicka sorcerer keeps spaming me with bolt escape over and over and over stunning me and making it so i cant move while i die.
happens to me and groups of people on a daily basis.

1) running in a group of, say, 8 to 12 (or even 15) people enemy player's names. I alway fear to read a name of one of the players that run in groups that are both, good and usually exactly 24 players. while it's not uncommon to take out many enemies as 10 to 12, you know you're *** if you engage the sieging enemy's backline and then read "karisha" or whatever. kinda ruins the fun for the upcoming fight even.

2) coming home from work, joining ts and the pvp channel, and not seeinge the people i'd like to see

with many peopel quitting the game and newcomers still living up the the "new" part, more often than not I can tell how things will be going before logging in simply by looking at the ts channel

3) killing the same DC group twice in a row, because you know for certain that the next time you meet them, there will be more than 2 full raids around ^^

It used to be people in the non-vet campaign that would have a ton of champ points. Now that's not so much of an issue unless you're completely new to the game. Right now, not so much lag but intense FPS drops. Ever tried to steel tornado inside a keep with a 12-man group while at 0FPS? Surprised I didn't die.

Slideshow! I absolutely hate being at 3 fps (or less). The red 999+ ping doesn't help much either. The crashing has gotta go too. The only good thing about the crashing is there is some time that after I know I have crashed, I can still walk around the game and get an accurate count of the enemy to relay over TS.

Seriously PVP is not fun, just look at all QQ threads by PVP players.

In any MMO, PVP players always are QQ'ing about everything...

Killing off the enemy's motivation. I hate that this is a thing and that it leads to EMP trading.

Back when I actually cared about trying to get EMP, we had to give up the map so we didn't kill the server. I was emperor and EP held the entire map + all 6 scrolls. After 1 day nothing. No action. No DC or AD came on to fight. None tried to take anything back, they were beaten and demoralized. So we did nothing. We let them PvDoor. Eventually after a week they were able to overthrow us. But we had to LET THEM. I don't want to let the enemy take back everything just so we have something to do. There needs to be a reason to hold onto the Emperor spot. Ok cool, you have EMP + all 6 scrolls now what? Sitting there farming them at their gates is boring for both sides. There needs to be more to PvP besides that.

maybe face them where they are. or did you possibly run away from a different campaign some time earlier? i agree though that the "main" campaign (eu: azura) is unplayable in the evening. but going from there, you always have to choice to either pick a balanced - or in your favor - one or to pick once dominated by an enemy.

that being said, it's about time for fewer campains to make it impossible to pick a campaign where your faction constantly has the most players.

however, if you "letting them" didn't make them pvdoor within 1-2 hours or at elast the next day, your campaign was empty already. if you took over the map just once and didn't spawncamp enemies for a an extended period, chance are there were zero guild groups among your enemies in the first place.

i'm not saying this stuff can happen. but if it is "your biggest fear in pvp", you're just not doing it right.

Annoyed? Yes, when you get ambushed by a VR16 with the best possible gear and the most possible CP. How are you supposed to fight someone like that?
