To much vet 14 mats

Wrothgar drops vet 16 mats if you have your passives maxed out but they don't drop enough. I see way too much vet 14 mats. Zos we get it you don't want it to be that easy to get vet 16 gear but this is a little ridiculous. Within half an hour i found 1 ancestor silk node but so much void bloom to count

I entered Wrothgar for the 1st time to do some material farming yesterday & because it was 1/2 hour before I seen a new node, I decided to keep count.....

Of 300 nodes I collected from -
16 were rubedite ore
9 were ancestor silk
17 were ash ruby
258 were void ore/bloom or nightwood. (I didnt count these nodes individually but void ore was by far the most common)
I got more v15/16 mats from deconstructing dropped items than I did from nodes.

My main goal was medium armour & that was even more disappointing.
Deconstructing dropped items & refining scraps gave me 605 shadowhide & only 39 rubedo leather. Yay

The potency runes nodes were just as bad.

Getting such a pitiful amount of materials after 10hrs isnt worth farming for gear or writs.
Since I have even more Craglorn writ material in the bank now, I will be resetting my skills to get the skill points back & stay at level 9.

@Ja50nX there was a delve that has so much durzog so you could try farming that for leather

Rank 10 mats are meant to be rare. Compared to rare mats from other zones that have them I'd say the rate is quite accurate.

You are complaining about....getting to much? The rate is fine, but even if it wasn''t....how is to much hurting you?

EDIT - Can farm more void materials in a 1/4 of the time in Craglorn compared to Wrothgar.

EDIT 2 - I respecced to put 8 points into alchemy & I get roughly 1 L.tears to 3 S.dews.
So alchemy solvent nodes are as one would expect all nodes to be but no, the othes are a fail.

EDIT3 - just spent 1.5hrs in Craglorn & got more heavy, light & wood mats than I did in 10hrs in Wrothgar. Its obviously so accurate & fair eh.....

@FrostGolem if thats the delve with all the Hagraven, that was where a good chunk of the shadowhide came from
