Combat log.. Or anything else than chat for that matter.

Isn't there any option to enable some sort of combat log? I see only chat. No log about items I loot either, which is very annoying when auto-looting. I have to open inventory and look for changes or new items... Have looked everywhere without finding any options... Did I really play four rounds of beta without noticing this, or was it enabled in the beta?

I would recommend installing two mods:
LootDrop
Foundry Tactical Combat

LootDrop will display what you just looted automatically in the bottom right hand corner and Foundry Tactical Combat displays scrolling combat stats on screen.

There is no ingame combat log per se but @Vistrix has linked two nice addons that will provide you with the info you need. Others can be found on on www.esoui.com.
