Twin Blade and Blunt Passive Still Broken

The only difference I get between maces and swords is an increase in Armor penetration with maces. When I use two swords weapon damage does not increase but armor penetration decreases. WHY? I should get a 5% increase in weapon damage with swords. All weapons are sharpened and at legendary level.
Passive states that each sword will increase weapon damage by 2.5%.

Check the damage tooltip of your abilities. Not the "Weapon Damage" line in your character sheet

I thought it was an increase in damage of weapon attacks... I could be wrong about that, but if I'm right, that would not be reflected in the character sheet and you would only be able to tell if it was working by testing it with a combat add on.

Passive actually states "Each sword increases your damage done by 2.5%"

I understand what is being said but I do see a difference with my magic based characters in the character sheet. Their spell damage does increase by 5% with two swords.
So why would the same not be true for weapon damage. The tool tip only specifies damage not spell or weapon but it is only reflected in spell damage.

That's how it use to be in IC but has been reverted back. Can you provide screenshots of what you're saying?

what set are you using with the two swords?

With the 5% twin and blunt passive, it will show up on the tooltip and not on your spell damage or weapon damage. The changes you're probably seeing in your magicka character is either the set bonus or the difference in dmg from your staff to the dw swords combined.

You are right I went back and checked and it does NOT show up in spell damage either. So begs another question WHY hide this value? If there is no way to show what your actual values are and what changes do for you when you change equipment without the use of addons how are you suppose to know?
If a passive says it increases damage then show it on the character sheet or change the tool tip to say that it is only in combat and does not reflect on the character sheet.

    Thanks for the responses.

It should also be noted that there are some UI bugs with 2 set bonuses (Ie torugs) either not showing up or showing up incorrectly on the character information sheet. The bonuses are still being applied, however.

Because it is a different bonus. There is no bonus that can equate for 2.5% total damage increase. If it gave you a static bonus to weapon damage/spell power, the increase for your total damage would be different according to how much damage you are doing. That means it would depend on your existing weapon damage and stamina. Instead they introduced a flat out whole damage increase WHICH IS DEPICTED IN YOUR ABILITY TOOLTIP.
