Stamknight SnB healing?

So I recently made a stamknight that uses sword and shield, and bow as a secondary and I was wondering, what on earth should I use to heal? Is there ANY good healing stam ability in the game aside from rally? Because I really do not want to use 2 handers JUST for one ability....

Vigor in the assault tree is a great HoT that can be used with any weapon.

Yeah, I think that is what I am going to go for, if only it required a lower tier to use :( . Oh wellz, just gonna have to take my beatings before I get it >_<

Will def be taking those two. Hopefully when they buff dks again tho, those 2 abilities will get a decent buff, cuz igneous atm is a joke in pvp with its damage shield.

Yea it's suffering from the classic blanket nerfs that zos tosses around. Barrier and hardened ward needed some tweaks so they just slap an overall shield reduction in pvp, screwing every other shield.

    Where is that located?

I am also speccing into alchemy now as well for those detect pots, immovable pots, etc. Should help, possibly mix restore health with other effects.

It's a morph of Defensive Posture in the one hand/shield line that absorbs magical projectiles (instead of reflecting them) and heals you. Without Vigor, and as a DK who can use Scales to reflect, that might be a good option.

Not or. You need both. Vigor heals slowly.

Depending on whether I'm playing with a magicka templar / someone observant with healing ward, I find I either need rally + vigor, OR those + coagulating blood. Then again, there's variation even with stamina DKs - in builds and in what kinds of situations you intend to play the most.

Absorb magica for an in combat, varying amount heal (I light attack when I see this animation then use a big hitter)

Igneous shield and dragon blood a rubbish heal.

Vigor for a strong heal over time (at assault 5)

I use vigor and dragon blood.

Dragon blood then vigor will give you the best heal

Yeah, hopefully they buff a lot of the dks skills next update like they said, cuz I pretty much play dks exclusively and would like to be a bit more competitive against the FotM classes.

Dragon blood is such a weak healing skill in pvp. You can only benefit from Coagulating Blood because of its passive, but Vigor and Rally are gonna be your healing skills. Also, remember that you will take 12% more healing with a Draconic Power skill active (which can be Coag Blood for 20% total or Spiked armor for passive+armor, for example).
I am using Spiked Armor, since I have 501 CP (45 in blessed for more healing initiated and a bunch into quick recovery), high max stamina and weapon dmg, which increase my healing a lot (Vigor tooltip, buffed: 18500 HP on 5 seconds).
But you are definetely gonna need Vigor; just farm it, it's really easy to obtain.
But I would also say, use absorb magic meanwhile, it's a good heal; morph it into Defensive Posture when you get Vigor tho.
Many DK's are using SnB/Dual Wields and they manage to do it without rally (i.e. @Yuke who's using Igneous shield+Vigor only, and he's one of the best stamknights here, but he's got 501+ CP too)
