and above all that, they kept buffing templars till they were the best dps for quite some time and people still been complaining about Templars being week

Seems to me the class simply has mechanics well suited to those introduced in MA (ranged, passive healing, single target burst), something any class can build for.
Granted insisting on running a stamina build in there will present more of a challenge for any class. The biggest complaint I hear is that MA forces you to respec your character specifically for MA.

Back then only a tiny handful of people in NA could tackle the serpent trial and their crew was so rough that the FIRST time I went with them we made it through, essentially without my knowing what came after the first boss. They are amazing and put 100x more thought and effort into DPS skill and group tactics than you could believe if you didn't experience it.0 -

try to deliver as much DPS as any other class is able to deliver on a sorc when none is using their ultis...
you can´t, you´ll be allways 20-40% behind - i´m not saying overload is fine but sorc dps without is is crap and needs to be significantly pushed to be balanced wich would drive any pvp sorc insanly overpowered if they would have a recognizable DPS while having their burst potential...spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

You missed my other points, also blazing got its own nerf ontop of the shield nerf. It used to be 30% of your max health now it's 15%....yay a 1k shield!

OP's demonstration is nice as a test of "max sorc DPS" but it's not a real combat situation, it's a pre-organized, set-up "laboratory" situation. Ultis have been saved and the entire group is devoted to optimize the sorc's DPS.0 -

yes that's exactly right
to sum up what happened before this test. i asked "healer" Region to provide all the buffs for me and Prothy "tank" to provide all max debuffs on boss.
i wanted to see what is the max dps i could pull with this build, and for it to happen, i needed all the help i could get. Prothy is a great tank, Region is a great healer, and Grey is a great dps.
i asked them to help me to test this and they were nice enough to accept and helped me out. it was all planned. we all saved our ultimates, Region provided all the buffs needed for me and kept it active in all the fight, and Prothy kept his debuffs on the boss, and Grey's job to kill the boss fast.
this was only to test and see what max dps i could pull in a perfect situation.Edited by Meshal on November 22, 2015 12:31PM4 -
