Torug's Pact Possible Bug (PS4 NA)

On my v16 nb, my torug's pact head set piece seem to be not working properly. The intended gear set-up was 5 julianos, 2 torug's pact, 1 molag kena and 3 willpower. When I put on the gear pieces one at a time the spell damage seems to go up normally. However, with everything on, when I remove the helmet of torug's pact my spell damage doesn't change. In fact, putting on another random helmet(engine guardian was used in this case), actually increased my weapon damage by 3 points. The only conclusions I can come up with after messing around a bit are that the character sheet is broken or using a weapon of torug's pact will keep the set bonus even if removing the other piece.

Anyone else experiencing this?

What exactly is the bug though? Is my destro staff keeping the bonus or is the bonus never applying at all?

I'm assuming you're using DW. There's a known bug (which ZOS hasn't acknowledged yet) where both DW items are only counting as one set item (despite the fact it shows both). So, for example, if you have 2X Toruq's Pact weapons equipped... you won't get the set bonus. In some cases, your spell or weapon damage may actually go DOWN.

    It's been rather frustrating.

I'm using destro staff. Does the same bug still apply?

That's a new one to me. More and more set issues creep up the more I read the forums.

Is this only dual wield or is it the offhand equipped item altogether (such as a shield)? I'm wondering if it's actually a bug or just a mechanic to level the playing field for those with two handed weapons which would be at an obvious disadvantage with less equipment slots.

There's a display bug with multiple 2-sets after Orsinium launched. Julianos crit, torug spell damage, etc are not showing up in the character sheet calculations.

Someone, however, did make some white items to see if they hit harder with the set or if it was the same without it and they did indeed still hit harder. Whether or not passives that increase spell power, IE sorc's, by a % are working is anyone's guess right now.

TL;DR - It appears to be a UI display bug. We're still getting the spell damage benefit.
