Elderscrolls online: my own opinions what I don`t like about this game.

I will go to the point. My point of view and not someones else`s. You can agree to disagree.

Classes-skills/combat/animations
- There are only few skills and everyone is using the exact same build as everyone else. For me it is little boring sometimes, the skills are not even skills that are in the single player elderscrolls games. Combat also feels clunky and animations and skill effects are actually quite bad. SO are there gonna be new skills for every class? New class perhaps? Better skill effects that does not look like..well bad?

Graphics
- One of the worst aspects of the game is graphics. It is a major turn off for me. It is 2015 people! and the game is not even that old! Characters looks like fax figures and hair looks like pudding. Environment looks not that bad, but still shaders and shadows and trees, flowers, grass could look better. There could even be parallax added to the game and higher resolution textures on everything. The ugly fog could be removed ( yes i know there is eso launcher mod, but why should people have to make those things when it is the game makers who should do the job.)

Character creation
- A major let down is that you cant actually customize/create very unique looking character. Everyone looks exactly the same with other hairstyle. And to be honest most or even all hairstyles looks really tacky and ugly. You cannot actually choose what kind of facial features you will have aka: Nose,eye,mouth,makeup,warpaint styles. Also sliders are really limited with use.

Armors
- The worst thing ever. I think some armors are good enough looking- like:
Light armor: argonian. barbaric, orc.
Medium armor: argonian, bosmer (hide and rawhide) and nord.
Heavy armor: high level bosmer armors and nord.
the list I made are the decent looking armors in game for females ! Not for males.
I think they used to have those "slutty" armors for females but why did they adjust them to look ugly?!
I know they are gonna add some really nice looking costumes to cash shop. But is is fair to leave all armors looking ugly so the game would make more money?

Over priced DLC`s
- Yes i know if i don`t want to buy it I don`t have to. But to be honest these prices are horribly high, more than they are worth ! They could reduce/adjust the prices.

Honorable mentions:
Also what is wrong with female shoulders they are so ... manly?!
Also breasts should look like breasts and not saggy skin bags with circles around them.

So do you think the future will be good for this game and how long is it gonna last?!

What I would say the game wont last that long. There are gonna be cheaper and better looking game/s. I am not gonna make list of them since you can find them using internet.

It may sound I really hate this game and that is not true. Its not perfect but it has potential to be something great! The game it self also is not completed ! It is missing a lot of that elderscrolls vibe and guilds (npc).

your character creation comments are a joke too. even people who have given this game terrible reviews concede that the character creation is one of the most in depth seen in an mmo. In fact your wrong on every point well done quite an achievement.
I' mean bad graphics i took this yesterday in my factions safe area name another MMO that looks like this.

I hear that a lot. "ESO's graphics are terrible". I... what? This is one of the prettiest games I've ever played. Okay, every once and a while you'll run across a texture that's just REALLY bad, but... overall, it's one of the shiniest MMOs I've played.

The lighting, detail and feel the game has is hard to outmatch. Sometimes I can just stop and look into areas and see all the unique and detailed life in the game world.

Bad graphics?? I mean, are you joking? What system are you playing this on? The world is gorgeous.

Combat? Far more intuitive and filled with action than most MMO's. Standing and spamming attacks isn't good combat tactics.

Character creation; did you actually use it fully? I mean, really?

DLC pricing: Subscribe. Problem solved.

I've played nearly every MMO that's currently out there and none of them come even close to how much potential this game has.

Yeah WoW has done well can't ignore tha,t but it's outdated and the style of that game doesn't appeal to me at all.

Now I said potential. Eso started out very rough and they have made some bad mistakes, but I'm slowly seeing this game turn the right direction. So to answer your request, I think if zenimax makes the right decisions from now this may well turn out to become one of the best mmos out there in the next few years.

I have no clue on what's coming. Only Everquest next I know of, has high potential ofcourse, but we have seen countless mmos from experienced developers fail terribly. We will see.

Zenimax has made me proud the last few updates

Wow. I disagree with almost everything you said. This game is excellent. Some standard mmo features are missing (console) but It is a great game otherwise. Great graphics. Great gameplay. Sooo much content. Could use some new skills maybe but otherwise it is awesome.

People need to realize MMORPGs are massive games, they cant do everything perfectly, no-one can.

Well, you're not going to get new content for free, so pick your potato.

(Over here, it's £9 a month so that's £27 every three months for me. A negligible amount, and I've seen full price games have less content and hours to play than you get in a DLC zone here.)

Game is beautiful. Either upgrade your rig or stop playing on console. Also, the spell effects are great. I've seen a full alliance vs alliance Zerg in 4K on ultra, and it's like staring into the face of God. More classes? I dunno. More skill lines are fine.

Now if we're critiquing performance and disconnect issues, then you might be able to make some valid points.

I think you're putting too much emphasis on critical in critical review.

Graphics and game play has always been a trade off, I've yet to see one outstandingly beautiful game with an amount of game content. Games that got it wrong, any Call of Duty game, they look amazing but only 24 hours of game plays if you have a coffee break after every mission. Games that got it right, Metal Gear Solid, Elder Scrolls, Summoner, Powermonger, Populous, Age of Wonders, Diablo 2. There are so many that have got the perfect balance in every genre. Yes there are games that have pushed boundaries, Eve, Archage, Black Desert, Wildstar, but these games are not considered the pinnacle of MMO.

Elder Scrolls is always about game play, it just looks good whilst it does it.

Your mentioning of armour, and female armour.... Isn't political correctness a great thing, let's move on shall we because the days where Western developers make armour kits that show flesh are gone.Lara Croft will never be the same.

Skills, a tricky one. To be fair the skills here are not really in ANY TES game. But the difference is this game events take place way before any event. It could be said that the skills in this era are about because they are what work well with other people. The past games (but future events) is based around the solo player only so the skills are bound to be different. Because of the game lore time line, I like to think the reason why the other games had the pick lock spell is because someone kept stealing the lock picks from the Mages Guild and they need to develop a spell for this reason

Your honourable mentions, again political correctness, models of all types have been blasted because they don't represent the average female, females in games have been used as examples and been blasted because they represent image of what men want in a woman and real women are just not like this. To be honest, I think every male is more then happy that women are not like the characters we make, they may be really good looking, but they tend to use your lower intestines as a sash.

Overpriced DLCs, I'm on the fence here. IC isn't worth it. Orisium, if it wasn't for the stupid node drop rate I'd say it was close to be right (seriously I have 4 zones to harvest Rank 9-14 materials, I don't need a 5th!!!!). But they can be changed and adapted, I believe there is a review currently about IC. ZOS are getting there, but they are walking on a fine line.

The game will last and will be around for a very long time, everyone is forgetting one variable, Bethesda. They will not let their Flag Ship sink.

Did you just mention "clunky combat", "bland animations" and "other elder scrolls games" in a single paragraph?
Actually, out of all TES games, ESO has the most elaborate combat system. Sure, there is a room for improvement, and some animations look silly (I'm looking at you, sword and shield attack animation!), but overall it incudes much more unique skills and abilities (light and heavy attacks, dodge rolls, etc) than any other TES game.

Graphics

Actually, ESO is far from the worst looking mmo.

Character creation

The only point I agree with. Yeah, more options would be really nice.

I was about to agree (some armor designs in eso are really weird, dunmer heavy helmets for example, and I really hated the redguard light armor changes), but...

I'm sorry, but this sounds really immature. Even though I'd also like to see more fancy and "sexy" options.
But anyway, if you choose a game only by graphics and boobs, there are better options than eso.

Black desert for example... The game is a crappy p2w project, but there are fancy shaders and boob physics so I guess you will love it. XD

Lol, I live in a poor country, but even from my perspective this game is worth it. It provides more content than a lot of AAA titles.

Yes I want real looking character models and I said that the game could be improoved graphically. I am a female player and this is what i would like

Zenimax has made me proud the last few updates

EQ Next is dead. They fired the most passionate people they had and cut ties with the company working on the emergent AI. If it does come out it will be just a shell of its former self.

It bothers me when people have unrealistic expectations. You're always entitled to your opinion as are we. What I did and others did is disagree and give our opinion about your opinion. What did you expect to get out of this post?

I don't know of any other mmo with better graphics and reputation. I know some have good graphics, but I like the style of this one above all others.

Read your own post closely and maybe you'll figure out why people used your immature prasing against you to proof a point. Everyone has an opinion, but that doesn't mean you can just insult people and get away with it.

Why do people buy this game expecting Skyrim? so hilarious.

Been playing TES series since 2004 from morrowind, when i bought this game i knew it wasn't some single player rpg, it was an mmorpg. big difference, you have to have more focus on other things rather than making hair, sprite and other graphics extremely detailed. none the less the graphics are extremely beautiful, especially compared to the last mmorpg i played. why don't you go check out neverwinter nights on xbox one and compare graphics.

If you are going to "Review" a game please make sure to understand the genre of the game. No one wants to read your mediocre review when Youtube is a click away with many many many more valuable opinions to be listened to.

DLCs are a tad bit overpriced and some of the "farm skipping"moitfs are outrageous. Graphics though I don't even know what to say to that, they are great. especially the godrays in this game damn it rivals this:

well, the armors are crap will give you that many parts are just re-textures of the skin... the parts of the body that are really crap, almost no one sees them. there could be more hairstyles (please add the simple 2 horns for argonians just like the ones from skyrim)

in your review you could state about DLCs how some set items that are required for max viability in PvP are locked behind BOP and/or a paywall.

First I'll say, hands down this is my favorite game, period... there isn't even a close second.

But I kinda disagree, I've always felt the range of facial and body options are not extreme enough, the characters from every race always look extremely similar.

And his criticism of the grass and flowers is spot on! They are literally the worst foliage fillers in mmo's today, I mean, have you ever zoomed your camera out then tried circling around the grass? You can't! It's only ever one side of foliage you see ever... and it drives my OCD nuts!

But yeah combat is not clunky at all, has op ever played Skyrim? Now that's clunky

And the skills are fantastic.
