I'm asking because I am a poor soul. So I can only get things in game, not by buying crowns. I'm hoping they will continue with the idea of anything in the crown store can be found in game as well.
If it were me, I would put all but the most basic housing drops into the world, let players find them in chests, delves, world bosses, dungeons, trials (especially trials), and other such things. Make getting that cool looking Golden Falcon Headed Armchair be worth getting by doing all the content.
Any crown store stuff would just be for ease of purchase.
That would be wonderful but not likely, I'm afraid. Our devs would probably give it to us but you know who's in charge of that stuff - the monkeys in marketing suits. Probably the only reason they budgeted time to create this was the opportunity for profit. Did you notice that the reward for the museum in Orsinium was supposed to be the bear mount? Instead, it's in the store along with all the other unique mounts.
Yes I'm a cynic once the marketers have gotten ahold of something.
We might get some basic things ingame but I'm betting the best stuff will be in the crown store.
