I don't care about the livestream, I only care about gina, she meets my system requirements
I'm so disappointed that this community actually cares about housing over the 1,000 other problems with this game.
Actually, I'm disappointed that this community actually cares about housing at all.

The fact is that Cyrodil is unique concept, show me one mass-PVP 3 faction game with siege mechanism? I can show you half dozen with Arena. So, they should indeed keep improving Cyrodil and makes it the best possible. Cyrodil Improving means growing, Arena means stagnating for the game.

That would break the game, because everyone would, all DLC would be empty .

What great significance would housing be to a combat based mmo?? I wanna PvP properly - without lag, not decorate my house, buy nice furniture, and stand my toon in it.

Oh I fully understand there is other play styles but what would they do with housing? You could meet people there yes, but taverns are already in game - perfect for the RP fan, and hardly used. What great significance would housing add??FuzzyDuck79 wrote: »With all the people banging on about housing, I'd love to know what they would do with it in this game, besides being able to stand your toon in it?? Hate to break it to you but this is an RPG and the RP population is pretty strong (at least on PC).
If all you do is pvp then I understand the narrow viewpoint but you need to understand that there are a lot of other playstyles around here and they should get their needs met, too.

Same as it adds in a single player game I would imagine. Somewhere safe to park your character at the end of play, somewhere to display trophies, etc, and not forgetting somewhere to RP with buddies.

I have no idea what the John Cena stuff was about. Overdone. But I'm really excited about player housing, because it gives something else to do in game, and variety is good.RatedChaotic wrote: »Sorry stopped watching when Cena showed up. That was annoying. I sit in the house playing games. Now I'm going to be in the house playing games in a house. FUBAR
What is that anyway? My opinion about this :
Housing - not really interested the feature will get a lot of stuff in the crown store. I can see the money grab a mile away
Barber shop - that's cool for sure
VR rank removal - I don't really care since the leveling has been simplified but yes why not I will make alts more easily
Scrolling combat text - cool but have to see what it will be like
Nameplates - have to see what it's going to be
TG - can't wait & hope it's going to be really cool
New trial - have to see if it's BS like AA or HRC no thanks
So about most of the features announced, I feel like it could be really great additions to the game but I don't think we should get our hopes up until we see the final product...

That really depends on how they choose to implement it, doesn't it? I mean, different games have different housing features. Here's a few quick suggestions:
- Being an Elder Scrolls game, it'd be great if it had a trophy cabinet and mannequins to display trophies we've won in game and some of the gorgeous armours that have dropped.
- Maybe an idea would be to implement special crafting stations, for new crafted sets?
- Perhaps a stable for all of your mounts?
- Maybe a bed to recharge CP enlightenment?
- A personal merchant and/or banker (although I'd encourage against this one as towns would become pretty deserted).
- Maybe player run and built towns? Ones that have to be defended in PVP once a week or defended against mobs in quest lines? Dailies possibly for this?
- Maybe we'll get to meet our hirelings for the first time ever, if we can put them up in the spare room? Hell, they could do a whole group of quests around that.
Just a few random thoughts, but ultimately, the answer to your questions depends on what they present us with.
