Mounts and Pets

Hello fellow ESO gamers!

I have this crazy idea that I would like to share! Hopefully, y'all will be as passionate about this as I am.

There are many MMORPGs out there that have mechanisms for players to obtain pets and mounts whether by farming instances/dungeons with low percentage drop rates or some Pokemon-ish system. This idea I have is related to this system. The idea is a taming ability to tame common and unique creatures throughout Tamriel to be pets. Furthermore, the pets can then be trained to become mounts. Of course, not all pets could be trained as a pet (riding a rabbit as a mount would not work  ).

What do y'all think? Should there be more to this mechanism? What is it missing that you would like to add? Instead of dismissing this as a bad idea (if you think this is a bad idea), let's improve upon it to make it better. I want your constructive opinion(s).

If implemented, another idea would be to have numerous creatures/animals added to the world of Tamriel.

Ranger class in another MMO I play, allows the ranger to tame different creatures throughout the world. Certain skills are also tied in with combat. One thing you cannot do is ride your pets. Mind you, there are no mounts in game.

I would totally support this... if ESO had stayed a subscription based game. As it stands now... naw. ZOS needs pets and mounts to make $$$.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.
