First you broke weapon crit, now you broke pet crit!

"Fixed an issue where player character pets and summons were inheriting too much Critical Strike rating from your stats, causing it to be much higher than intended."

Whatever you did this patch according to this "fix" from the notes you've changed how pet critical works. As far as my understanding was, Pet's critical rating was based off of your spell crit as of patch 1.5 or 1.6. Then it was changed to be based off of your highest scaling crit; weapon or spell critical. Before I got to test out the new set (thanks 600+ material requirements, it's not like I enjoy theorycrafting anyways...) Morkuldin, this patch rolled out with something I'm assuming to be a fix for where pets were always critting. Tonight after begging/grinding/deconning for 4 days straight I finally got enough leather to make this set to test it out. I had my doubts since % proc's on LA/HA's are always rather lack luster, and pet summons are even less desirable than the previous, but I saw it proc on someone and I got really excited.

Anyways, I put it all on, v16-golded out-fully enchanted (to compare DPS in like variables with my other gear sets) and began whacking away. The proc rate is really nice, it seems to actually be 10%, unlike Essence Thief or other proc based things that feel like 1%. Then I realized that the damage it was recorded under was my character's OWN light attacks/cleaves. My damage recorded ripped data as if my character was inflicting the damage, instead of the summon itself. I also noticed my crit was rather low on all of the parses that I watched it wail upon my enemies. So I decided to only Heavy Attack to proc it, and found out that pet crits are now utterly broken. With an 81.6% crit chance, over 100 hits between light attack/cleave from the little sucker, only 15.4% of them were crits. Either pets have been reverted to only scaling with spell crit (mine was 25%, so even that's pushing it) or they've been put to the base character crit chance of 10%. Either way, not only has weapon crit been broken since the PTS release of Orsinium, but also this newly made set for stamina builds, is completely useless.

Stamina builds are already a dying breed in PvE, we've been so far behind casters after the camo/sharpened bugs got fixed and we've only fallen more behind as we're left with outdated gear and constant nerfs while caster's get shiny new sets like Scathing and Julianous, or healers with Spell Cure. We have it hard enough between difficulty of play with survivability, lack of agreeable ranged options, and overall dps. Breaking crit just takes away the only thing we have, putting us even further down in the grave. Now we can't even enjoy having fun with silly pet builds.

Can confirm that the sword crits rarely, definitely does not inherit the character's Weapon Critical.
It also hits for a lot less than the tooltip states:
    Tooltip: 5,135 damage
Reality: ~2.6k damage on a VR 16 Giant in Wrothgar (~3.9k with a crit)

Confirm as well, the sword rarely crits and hits very weak compared to what it should be hitting for.

Don't forget that the mobs have resistance reducing the tooltip value a fair bit.
