Getting conversations from and NPC called Soul of Dusk- runaround from Customer Service.

I've had the problem at least since the Orsinium patch, I started noticing it when i turned on the subtitles which identified it as the "Soul of Dusk". It happens everywhere.

The NPC has Molag Bal's voice actor or someone very much like him

lines include "you consider yourself a benefactor of Daedra, mortals?" and "Lyraneth deserved everything we did to her"

Logging in and out did not help, this issue has been going on for a long time.

This sounds creepy, also I don't understand why the support stopped helping you to solve this problem..

I just tried to google for "Soul of Dusk" in the game, it seems an NPC by that name doesn't exist. So the only thing you could try at this time would be looking for any quests you have in your journal at the moment if one could be related somehow to this "NPC" (or whatever this might be) and abandon the quest to see if it's gone.
This is really weird..

I'm extremely suprised that the support didn't know what it is; one would think they know their game, right?!

I just checked out who Lyranth was (I forgot, it's been a while^^), here you might find a quest which you have active at the moment:
uesp.net/wiki/Online:Lyranth
I really hope one of them is related to the issue and you can abandon it and try again (or disable the subtitles for the quest, if possible).

Edit: I just remember! I MUST be the quest "Truth, Lies and Prisoners", there IS a voice sounding a bit like Molag Bal, but more synthetic or something, right? It will disappear after you enter the tunnel.
Sorry it took so long to figure this out, but now I can assure you that this is intended and no bug, and it will go away for sure :-)

Apparently it was my shield, Grievous Ward. If Customer Service had told me that, I would have been saved a lot of trouble. Thank you to the guy on zone chat who figured that out, no thanks to the clueless CS staff.

It's the shield?! I've been hearing it too and past the Truth, Lies, and Prisoners quest.
