Is ZOS trolling low levels with their new battle leveled group finder?

I was just in a group with a v16 healer, v1 tank, lvl 30 sorcerer and my alt who is a lvl 15 dps. We all wiped at the White Gold Tower during a trash mob. Our attacks were barely even putting a scratch on the mobs healer, so we were unable to burn through his heals to kill the rest of the adds. Are these battle stats really accurate for low levels going against v16 mobs? Or is this just a simple L2P issue?

Yattaq✭✭✭Little bit of both to be honest. There is still some disadvantage to being low level, but if 2 out of 4 of you group members are standing in red constantly you'll have a tough time, regardless of their level.
I've healed those same dungeons on my non-vet alt healers, and it's more challenging than it is on my V16 character, but it is doable. They've already done some pretty drastic changes for low levels on PC; they get a 20% damage and health buff now. I'd imagine they'll continue that pattern to try to bridge the gap between an inexperienced low level and an experienced vet character.
I think the root of the problem is that there hasn't been a mechanism for these players to get dungeon experience. Now that there is one, they're pretty fresh, meaning the runs are a lot bumpier. Those players will get more experience over time though, and instead of always having 2 people brand new to dungeons in your group, soon you'll have 1, and then soon after that you might have 1. The best suggestion I have for experienced players using group finder is to be patient, and ask if guidance is needed. Most new players are willing to listen to suggestions, as long as you aren't raging at them when you're giving them.19 -

True. I just like to think of myself as an above average player though. I have been playing everyday since beta, have decent amount of champion points, and have a v16 former emperor. I have TRIED a few of the random builds that people have recommended as they were created by "dave" but have always found that I do better when actually using a build that I myself have created. I think you will always do better when playing a build you actually enjoy, understand and that is tailored to YOUR style of play.
I definitely like to think I am a above average player, From a pvp perspective I do very well and I never needed "dave or bob" and one of their builds to do that.
Some people will tell you that you MUST use 'x' build but thats probably because either; they too use that build, they have just never been bothered to take the spoon out of their mouths OR they just wasnt good enough to play a build of their choosing.
Give it a shot. If it doesnt work, go back to one of "rickys awesome builds1!!".

And lets face it, pets are HORRIBLE in dungeons because they explode when more than one thing looks at them funny. I imagine the other classes are in a similar boat as they plain and simply do not have access to their arsenal of abilities/morphs at such a low level.
Secondly is the gear. Nobody is upgrading their level 16 gear to purple. NOT HAPPENING, EVER. The scaling is set up so that gear quality and enchants matter. Lets be real here, when I was level 16 I was stoked to have a full set of green gear with a couple blues mixed in. That would scale me up to v15 like I was in that same crappy green gear. That's not realistic to complete a veteran dungeon.
Lastly are the enchants and traits on the gear. For brevity sake lets look at accessories since those enchants honestly make the most difference for a damage class. They cannot drop with weapon/spell damage. Without those stats I can honestly say you're going to be maximally capable of some VERY underwhelming damage. Since I have the unique perspective of having leveled up seeing my scaled stats from v1 and then my "now I have gear" stats at v16... I have more than 10k more magicka and about 1k more spell damage than the stats they scaled me up to (And that's with Torug's Pact 2 set not giving spell damage).
For normal difficulties this is fine. Normal is a joke. It is an entirely different story for the vet dungeons save a select easy few, and you don't have a single hope or prayer using this system for any of the IC dungeons.
In my opinion this is a problem beyond scaling as people simply do not have their abilities to handle v16 mob health when they are level 16. You can't have a one size fits all scaling factor because of that very issue.5 -

Plenty of people on here have completed vet dungeons with pugs using the new tool, including low levels.
If you're doing vet dungeons you should have a basic understanding of the mechanics, and most people should have an easy supply of purple tempers, I've only been playing since console release but I've got about 300 of each type of purple temper, I can easily make purple gear if I decide to do vet dungeons with a low level alt.
Besides when you was level 30 were you even doing vet dungeons? Nope. So why should it be easy enough now?1 -

No they havent, deltia is the worst of them all, probably why he's quitting eso soon.
His stamina templar is a copy and paste of ALCAST's templar, it's quite sad he can't even come up with his own build, he spouts a LOT OF crap. People like you are the best targets for me in PVP. They go on youtube, find some streamer and copy his build, I can little read off their skill rotations as they are doing them, and I can tell exactly what stats they have. Quite sad really, it's an mmo, try and be a little bit more unique
I completed a couple vet dungeons last night on ps4, so no text chat, and no one else had headsrts, 0 communication between players available.
Did fungal grotto and wayrest sewers vet.
No issues, had 1 wipe other both dungeons, I was on my vr7 breton templar healer, had a vr16 nb, a level 34 dk tank and a vr 1 templar dps.
If you're struggling that bad, it really is l2p3 -

I spend a lot of time pvp'ing and I never run with more than 2 people, 90% of the time I run solo, as I enjoy dueling and practise my builds and constantly try new gear sets and builds.
I'm sorry your not capable of completing fairly easy content, and I'm sorry you and the groups have l2p issues. The only way to get one shot is if people are standing in the red stuff, even at vr16 you get one shot. Unless all dps'ers have 35k + health.
Maybe try and learn the mechanics and create your own build? Rather than asking deltia if you can copy his copied ideas?
I sincerely hope you manage to improve enough to get it to work, I really do, need any advice just give me a shout

Please spare me this nonsense. Deltia creates builds that are functional for casual players and are mostly aimed at being 'special' or 'interesting'. They are by no means the best builds and they never will be.
Maybe you should stop trying to hide behind an 'idol' and actually use your own brain for once, rather than trying to justify it by saying they have "obviously been thoroughly tested with addons". Makes me cringe.2 -

No they havent, deltia is the worst of them all, probably why he's quitting eso soon.
His stamina templar is a copy and paste of ALCAST's templar, it's quite sad he can't even come up with his own build, he spouts a LOT OF crap. People like you are the best targets for me in PVP. They go on youtube, find some streamer and copy his build, I can little read off their skill rotations as they are doing them, and I can tell exactly what stats they have. Quite sad really, it's an mmo, try and be a little bit more unique
I completed a couple vet dungeons last night on ps4, so no text chat, and no one else had headsrts, 0 communication between players available.
Did fungal grotto and wayrest sewers vet.
No issues, had 1 wipe other both dungeons, I was on my vr7 breton templar healer, had a vr16 nb, a level 34 dk tank and a vr 1 templar dps.
If you're struggling that bad, it really is l2p

I spend a lot of time pvp'ing and I never run with more than 2 people, 90% of the time I run solo, as I enjoy dueling and practise my builds and constantly try new gear sets and builds.
I'm sorry your not capable of completing fairly easy content, and I'm sorry you and the groups have l2p issues. The only way to get one shot is if people are standing in the red stuff, even at vr16 you get one shot. Unless all dps'ers have 35k + health.
Maybe try and learn the mechanics and create your own build? Rather than asking deltia if you can copy his copied ideas?

You did, in your own way. Oh boy, someone's build they created on their own through their own sweat and tears wasn't tested by the almighty deltia, woopy doo. What does that prove? Nothing. Just that that person's build works for THEM and that's what matters. As I said, everyone's playstyle is as different as fingerprints. Everyone in my guild who uses anything those pros put out ALWAYS modify it to their own tastes. They never copy it exactly. They always modify it the point where it's completely different from the original. And that's what those builds are meant to be. Simple guidelines.

✭If they are testing something its working bad. Ive had two dungeon groups today, first one was with 26 level tank and second was with 28 healer/dps, and the rest was VRs. Healer couldnt do a damn and tank disbanded whole group.
