I can enter the world much faster that before the patch but it took me much longer to get to the character selection screen after the login.
Anyone else have this issue?

✭✭✭✭✭Yep, first login after a patch can take a while. Sometimes a maddening amount of time as the game compiles the patch.
Me, I just launch the game, then go fix a beverage or give the GF a hug or something, on patch days. Note, I give the GF hugs all the time, I just use the login after patch delay as an excuse to give her another one, she likes it and it makes her happy.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
