IC was a good money maker. We had Willpower, Endurance, and Agility items to sell, as well as 6 different kinds of Trophies that sold like hotcakes. I made bank on IC; I'm doing fine with Orsinium too, but most players don't have the knowledge of the market, time, and resources that I am fortunate to have. In any case, we don't have the 3 Best in Slot jewelry sets and the Trophies from IC in Orsinium, and that's the main difference right now.

Just thought I'd add. Everyone on console doubled the price of perfect roe last night due to the new recipes requiring it. An hour or so fishing may help raise some cash. Ground out IC for stones and bought 500 leathers (foolishly as they will be half the price in an hours time ) and they all sold for 15k per 100. Easy money on mats at the moment.

heyyoboomhauer Its sodang ol easy to make that dang gold when you simply run round' those hills and collect nodes I can say I make a good 100k+ a wek from deconstructing those dang ol mats and sellin the yellow ones I get from them furthermore I found it so very dang oel hard to not even use punctuation in this how can you do it man.

Sometimes when a player asked for suggestions and then beat the ideas down can be mind numbing. Once we had a lowbie new player in the Guild (NOT veteran level yet) complained about how difficult it is to make money. So we gently offered several suggestions and which each has a counter remarks against them:

1. Sell all the crap loots to vendors.
Response: No, I need to decon them to level my crafting

2. Farm nodes for sale. They sell at better prices when they are not refined.
Response: No, I need to refind to level crafting and save up the purple and gold tannins

3. Farm alchemy and some flowers like Columbine can sell for exorbitant prices
Response: No, I need to craft them to level my low level alchemy

4. Sell off any special armor drops across Tamriel like warlock sets or syrabane and so forth at trading guild
Response: No, I MUST decon them to level my crafting and make armors

5. Go pluck insects to sell for fishing baits
Response : Nah, I don't have crap ton of time in this game

None of the new items sets are in any way good or useful to me so them being BoP or not makes little difference to me. However the Julianos set always sells nicely, i can sell v15 versions of it for 7.5k gold and it always sells instantly. Also the fact that now you can farm v15/16 raw materials and they sell for extremely high prices still, so i wouldn't say there is no way to make money, there is more than enough ways.
Also the new motifs, recipes sell well too. For PvP players - akaviri pages can be sold for decent amount and there's finally a real financial purpose for AP as anything else except siege equipment and repair kits is useless.
