So today's gaming. I heard that refining lower level scraps yields a higher chance for gold tempers....
So I did one lap of Auridons coast and the pub dungeon. Accumulated 250 rawhides, 170 maples and 135 iron ores.
The result..... 9 dreugh waxes, 12 rosins and 7 tempering alloys. So it seems it true. But unsure why??? Is this because lower levels won't have the highest passives so they have to give a higher chance? Seems a bit unfair really. Going to put in an all nighter now to get tins of em for ze gold and make my new soon to be orsinium sets nice and gold on release tomorrow.

Could you elaborate? Which of the passives are you talking about that you don't want to take?
I assume he's talking about the raw material extraction/refining crafting passives.

✭✭✭✭✭That's a really small sample size, so I wouldn't put too much stock in it. I mean it's possible, but you'd need a lot more data to be able to say if it's true. A few days ago I refined 40 rubedite ore and got 3 tempering alloys from it, but I don't exactly expect that those results are typical...

✭✭No trolling. A few people I've pledged with lately have mentioned it, being a little bored I thought why not go farming. Defiantly a lot more golds than void blooms etc. Rng has been good to me this week. Just one more helm to go, not that I need bloodspawn but still nice to have them all. Seriously give it a go and see what you get. This is console though.PC Master Race

I don't know how long this has been a possible issue but I know as a fellow console player and one of the members of the unlucky club I do not get the gold improvement materials so easily when refining Rank 1 mats lolGuildmaster of Power With Numbers in PS4 NA Server's Aldmeri Dominion.
