I think people who don't have sigs...are just trying to remain anonymous so that they can come on the forums and be rude and no one will know who they are in game. They want to hide behind their keyboard.

Having a sig has many reasons. Some leave messages for Zo$. Some have quotes that they like from movies, books or other players/posters.

If someone has a sig with their character names, I tend to think of that person as more real or trustworthy. There is a certain amount of accountability when everyone knows who you are in game AND on the forums.

Grow a spine. Show who you are. Or, continue to hide so that you can be rude.

I love writing and reading the sigs, it helps me know if I should be teaming up with them or being vary wary in PvP

It's also a good place to add an incredibly obscure quote that nobody will recognise unless they google it *hint, hint* *wink, wink*

I don't see them as rude, mainly because IRL I know a few people who are so intensely private that they would never put information about themselves in a sig - even just in-game info.

Here is my in-game info: My main is Daemon-spawn, VR16 DK, DC alliance. The rest of my characters are low levels and/or mules, and I don't believe they are worthy of being mentioned. Now that you know much much more about me, know who my in game character is, and can identify me as a real person and know who I am both in game and on the forum, and now that I have grown a spine, maybe now you can trust me when I say I dislike signatures.

I know I'm still being rude, by the way. Maybe if I put a smiley face in my sig everyone will like me.

FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Then I shall start a government petition to force people to have words on the front of their cars.

This may be a disservice to me, because I read EVERYTHING. So if I'm mid way crossing the road and see a car, I will most likely stop in my tracks to try and read what it says.
But hey, I'm a selfless person, so let's do it.

    Not trying to be difficult.

I'm in the "Only bother when they write a comment/post that interests me" and "Sometimes randomly my eyes float to the bottom and I see it". Also there is a third option I would have liked to see, "If I see them around the forums a lot."
