I am currently attempting to make a 2-handed sorcerer tank build (specifically stamina based) and was hoping to get some suggestions/criticism/ideas.
My character is an Orc Sorcerer and I really enjoy tanking so was hoping to find a slightly different build from the simple magic spam wards build. This lead me to play around with a 2-handed weapon build that seemed to do fairly well and was VERY solo friendly, but I also enjoy doing group dungeons with a healer and seeing what we can 2-man. Once Orsinium hits console I will be doing a lot more group finders, but would like to continue tanking.
Anyways, so far this is what I have slotted for skills:
Bar1: Dizzying slash (for spam damage and the debuff), Mages wrath (an execute and replenishes magic), Dark Deal (heals my health and stam at the cost of magic), Inner Beast (taunt), Summoned Clannfear (functions as a near perma “CC” that even works on bosses while also being a health and magic heal if needed), with Flawless Dawnbreaker Ultimate (boosts my weapon damage plus it can be used quite often).
Bar 2: Brawer (cone damage plus shield), Thundering presence (armor/resist buff, AOE damage, speed bost), Critical Surge (Brutality/Heals), Critical Rush (charge), Summoned Clannfear (again), with Absorption Field Ultimate (CC plus resource regen).
The first bar is meant more for boss fights or quickly taking down single mobs, while the second bar is more meant for AOEing trash
I would really like to keep the 2-hander, along with the summoned clannfear (it is invaluable when 2manning dungeons), and heavy armor, but am totally open to changing anything else.
I am uncertain what armor sets to use (currently using Vampire’s kiss for the HoT when I kill something, or what enchants to use. Any advice in that regard along with champion point spread or attribute spread would be GREATLY appreciated! Also is vampirism worth it for the damage resistance buff when lower on health or any of the skills? Any other suggestions or thoughts?
