A New Idea on New Gear for End game earning

Hmm had a hard time trying to describe what it is Im thinking of.

Basically its an answer to, "how to make things that are new for end game people to earn?"

Lets say im maxed out on everything and ZoS wants to introduce gear, but want to give me a way to earn it.

Here's an idea on how:

Introduce more traits and then gear that requires the new traits to be researched in order to create them.

Say they introduce a new trait, and make a new gear set that requires 10 traits to create. The moment this set is introduced, even if I had all previous traits researched, the fastest I could get to make the armor is 30 days.

The new traits could also make hybrid builds more viable (just an idea) something like for each point in magicka and stamina increase both by x... or some such thing.

I know the idea is half baked but I think I got the idea across, anyway what do you guys think?

Trouble would be coming up with new and useful traits.
I think the best idea I've seen (and I forget who came up with it so can't give them the credit they deserve) was allowing people to research dropped sets.
Babeester Gor is the Axe Goddess, the Implacable Anger, the Avenging Daughter and the Earth Guardian.
    Vriddi gra-Yildnarz, Dragonknight and Smith
    Myrvanwe, Sorcerer and Enchanter
    Tsajirra, Nightblade and Clothier
    Vilvyni Indarys, Dragonknight and Woodworker
    Arielle Alouette, Templar and Provisioner
Fishes in Troubled Waters, Nightblade and Alchemist
Shanika Some Long Title I'd Change If I Could, Templar and Aspirant Jeweller
Pippi Longhorn, Nightblade, Ne'er-do-well, and "Tribute" character

Oh, oh that is a good idea. Like research the set ability things and then create your own armor with passives?

Would be really cool actually... could even help out hybrids.

Hey this thread was about my idea, but that's a great one!

    They do a few like
We'll trained-skills hit 1% harder bc you are better trained

Heavy hitter- 10% chance to knock down oppnent. Ignores cc immunity

Explorer-more gold and better chance for rare items

We'll fitted- reduce costs of abilities by 0.5% bc you move more efficient try

By adding actually desire able traits we could have some nice diversity.

Also I think researching sets genius whoever ce up with it, I'd happily research another 30 days for that, could really give the economy a boost.

@Spearshard I agree! Just real quick, you reminded me. Last night I was asking my guildies if anyone could make me a "gold glyph" one of my buds thought I was meaning a glyph that increased gold amounts. He got super excited before I told him I meant gold level v16.

Seems like there would be a demand for your described trait :)

I think the idea was research set items and gain the ability to make that set but being able to research and then create your own set would be even better (so we're back to talking about your ideas :D )

i like the research set items idea... although i do think the items you craft should be bound.

Nty. I'd rather they fix the current traits that we have and make them all useful to different types of play styles. Researching traits sucks.

That's kinda the point. You make it where not everyone wants it, that way those that do get a reward.

New trait idea obv would be tradeable.

New set idea probably would not be tradeable (really close to spell creating)(though I would like tradeable for economic sake)

Im trying to stay way from changing current things. Its not that I do not some traits to actually be useful, its that I see ZoS producing something new before changing something old
