What do you think of the idea of there being a 1v1 arena? With the ability to be able to compete in knockout round tournaments, new rewards, possbily wager a fight, watch duels as a spectator or even have special rules such as a 3 way fight or tag teams?

✭Not saying I wouldn't like smaller scale PVP arenas, but I think they would create more balance issues in the games current state.
IMO the best thing for PVP is seperating it from PVE. Builds between the two game modes have drastically different areas of focus. However since they are tied together, when looking at balance both aspects of the game need to be considered.
A skill could be deemed too powerful for PVP, but fine for PVE. At present lowering the damage of this hypothetical skill would potentially have a positive outcome for PVP, but a negative one for PVE. And the situation goes both ways. It's a cumbersome balancing act that is completely needless. If the two game modes functioned independent of one another I firmly believe it would be much easier to balance.0 -

Anyway what you ask is already possible in the game.. join a duelling guild, roll a sorc and google the latest exploits .. you will be good to go.
