Anyone else saving Wrothgar for later?

I know it battle levels you and all, but seeing as I've started a new main, and he's not yet levelled into VR territory, I've decided to save Wrothgar to use for the last few VR levels on that toon. I've not seen any of it, dungeons, dailies, story quest... nothing. It means it'll probably be a month or so before I even set foot there, by which time it'll be old news lol.

Anyone else saving it for levelling?

Heck no.I was waiting to get into it since they let it out in the PTS.I played it there, only a bit to see what it was like, and loved it. Just do s you wish about when to play it. It will give you an extra something to do if you wait.Since we are leveled to VR15,it doesnt really matter.

This is exactly what i'm doing. I'm rushing my DK through Silver/Gold and doing every quest, so I won't have to grind Cyrodiil or Craglorn just to finish leveling.
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

I am. I have too many crashes over there. I think Wrothgar has higher HW requirements than rest of the game. Gotta wait until I upgrade my PC.

I'm still experiencing the main game, once I get a character to vr16 and have done a majority of all the quests and achievements in normal, silver and gold then I will buy the DLC and go through that, to me there's no point buying an expansion when i have so much good content already incomplete.

Yeah I am too, I have 3 vr16's, and another at vr2 that I am levelling at the moment. I am going to take him through after gold for the last couple of levels. I have been there on my crafting toon just go gather mats I haven't done any quests there at all yet.

I cleared all the Silver and Gold quests and guess what? A lot of characters you met during your alliance adventures do make appearances in the zone. So maybe saving them to last would be good character story wise.

Is this DLC worth getting? I played like a week after the IC came out and then I went to do other things and I come back to eso and it took for ever to load to my character screen and i think my game is broke nothing works.

I saved the quests for a while because so many people were so desperate to get them done in the first day of release. It was madness, so many people crowding round all the quest-givers. So I just went off and picked flowers and stuff :)

Done the quests now though, so there's only dailies and vMA left :(

I am also saving it for when I reach higher levels... no reason to jump into a DLC before completing the main story or even Silver and Gold IMO. However, if I do get bored doing any of that, I may jump over to Orsinium. Options... gotta love options. B)

I am, but no intentionally, only because my former DK tank, recently respec'ed for DPS is still VR4

Nope. In there every day on three Veteran Rank characters.

If you are interested in group play, this is the time to be in there. This is the best chance to adhoc group for things like world bosses. There are no group dungeons or trials that will bring the group players back into the area.

In three months, when Thieves' Guild is released, it will be paradise for ungrouped players and it will be much harder to find anyone in there to collaborate with. This is when I plan to do all the solo-only things, like the main zone quest and MA.

Another thing to consider is that the first two weeks or so after the DLC is released is when the content will be most difficult. It is also the most buggy, but ZOS tends to make things hard and then nerf it. If you really want the hard bosses, you play now. In a month, they will be much easier. If you want to avoid the harder content, wait about 6 months and give them time to nerf it a couple times.

I havent stepped foot into the dlc. My char is vlvl 14 and almost done with the vr zones. When done Ill head in. Why wait? Mostly to avoid the crowd but also for my chars progression.

Edit to add: It has made the group content in the old zones much much more difficult to complete. Just sayin...

Haven't done any of the quests on any of my characters. Have explored the entire map with my crafter, in hopes RNG would give me plenty of VR16 materials. Such was not the case. Figuring around a 1 out of every 10 materials to be VR16. Quite low if you ask me.

Onwards I may use Wrothgar to help level some of my non maxed characters, if there's any decent grind spots to be found. Can't stomach questing.

Even though wrothgar levels you to VR16... I feel compelled to BE VR16 before traveling there.

I'll probably wait to get it until after they do whatever it is they're going to do with the VR system....

Yes I'm saving it. Well... I have gone over to just explore a bit, but I'm not going to do all the quests/dungeons/etc. until later. I like to do everything, but that results in being over leveled by the end of any zone, so I'm not going to make myself even more overleveled for where I'm at than I already am by gaining more xp over in Wrothgar right now.

I'm not necessarily going to leave it until I've finished everything in the main game, but I'm not getting it yet because I still have a huge amount of stuff to do so it doesn't seem worth it to start buying DLC.

I'm saving it as well. But for how long, i'm not sure. It's pretty damn enticing!!!
I've recently started a new main (my mini-main, as I call her), and I want to do Orsinium with her, but not until at least after Coldharbour (and vet rank). Whether I can hold off going there until after Silver and Gold? Naaaah

I left Wrothgar for later, as well as IC. Only used it to craft Julianos set. Want to level up my VR4 char by doing cadwell's almanac first, and then do the DLC's, especially as Wrothgar scales to your level while other zones not. So these other zones cannot wait
