Leveling skills

When starting a new toon, is it better to spend skill points on morphs or passives? Once I get my starting 5, then I start working on passives until I hit level 15, then do the skills for the second bar. Does this make sense do it this way, or should I be focusing on morphs or passives? Thanks.

Borbox✭✭I'd say focus on getting new skills and slapping them onto a bar to level them up as you go over most passives, at lower levels the passive benefits aren't as important for most skills. That being said I'd suggest getting the mage and fighter guild conversational passives to speed up the grinding process.0 -

✭✭✭✭I always just smash skills. Morph them, get them maxed. Once I do that I respec and drop the ones I won't use.
Nothing worse than needing a skill at a later time and it needs to be levelled.
What have you made? Some passives maybe really helpful early on so a few are worth considering.0 -
