Do you read peoples signature?

Forum signatures are pretty neat things. You can list off your characters, or things that are important to you - like links to ESO game ideas, movements (NoNerfNovember), links to pictures of your cats, or whatever.
I'm wondering how much thought people should put into these signatures by gauging how often others actually bother to read them.
Do you think they are important?

I'm just a difficult person.

Actually, for me it's a combination of the first option and the third option. If someone writes a post that I find particularly interesting in one way or another I'll typically check out their signature. Additionally, sometimes my eyes just randomly float down there even if the post didn't really stand out to me.

My eyes seem to do that if they have a lot of bold that grabs my attention, like yours. Though I usually check them all out anyway. It interests me to find out what kind of people comment on these forums and what they have to say (even in their signature).

If I'm skimming through a thread I usually skip over signatures, but I do find it interesting to see what people name their characters and if someone seems to have a quote or interesting bit of text I'll often read those.

But seriously, really long or excessively formatted sigs are the only ones I usually read. Sometimes, my eyes drift to the bottom of a post but not often.

Almost never.

The longer and more links it has the more I won't read it.

I also don't generally care what your character is... let alone what level 2 NB food supply bank alt mule is called.

Never click on videos of OP stuff or exploits...

Usually don't vote in forum polls either...never enough people to be meaningful.

I read a lot of posts though.

I read many of them and even follow some links. I certainly don't read all of them, but I do peruse to see people's naming creativity or interesting quotes.

I like to see what servers and platforms people are using. I'm on XB1 NA, and from the forums I'm gradually learning how PC and console players are essentially playing two completely different games.

I appreciate the people that have a 250 word count signature, and have the consideration to at least bury it inside a spoiler. These forum pages are vertically bloated with excessive signatures attached to already needlessly quoted entire original posts.

Oh, and I will note that when I read people's sigs, I'm a lot more interested in what they name their characters than what levels their characters are. If you have both pieces of info, that's cool and I like that. If you just have your classes and levels listed, well to me that's really boring. I'm sure others will probably feel the opposite.

It is a line from Waylander, from the sadly deceased David Gemmell novels, one which resonates with me and my life also.

I admit I do read the signatures....kinda gives you a bit more idea on their personality and where they are coming from. I'd probably veer away with playing with someone whose signature is

"Anyone who screws up a dungeon will be left to die" or something LOL
