I'm having the same issues.

The error messages vary from:
1. No network connection
2. Must have a PSN account
3. No PSN multiplayer permissions.

now I get login failed "server timed out".

Same. I've tried everything. Reboot router, ps4. Gta 5 multi and battlefield works.
