When Orsinium came out, we first saw server crash, rollback and stamina regeneration bugs. Then the ridiculous stamina cost bug, which, according to ZOS, may not be fixed until January 2016 in the worst case.Yesterday's ninja nerf to certain DoT skills was intended to increase game performance. However, it turns out to be another new bug, making NB's refreshing path completely broken.
I did not even talk about those ones that have been there since launch, such as weapon swapping animation glitch, which I myself just experienced a few hours ago. And then Cyrodiil, actually I'd rather not talk about it now.
I mean these bug adding up altogether have seriously crippled the overall gaming experience. For some people, they are even making this game unplayable. To top it off, for every fixed bug, they created a new one, sometimes even a worse one. This really has to stop. They really have to put everything aside, delay thieves guild, dark brotherhood or whatever new contents and thoroughly examine the whole game and their QA. Otherwise, those highly expected contents will become nothing but disasters all over again.
I know no new contents is going to seriously damage their finance but the current direction is just going to kill this game at last. An overall examination is what they should have done before Orsinium, before IC, before console launch or even before this game launched.
Moreover, I think we deserve an honest and full explanation of the current situation and their plan to deal with these issues. We have been waiting for this kind of report, statement or whatever you call it since the last Road Ahead. I just don't understand what is so difficult to talk to us about the current state of the game.
Edit: DLC or major patch probably may not work this way but what I mean is whether ZOS should take a break from developing new contents and focus all their resources and time on a thorough examination on those basic but troublesome stuff.
If you don't develop new content, then players leave. Always do features, and if enough resources do bugfix
