Templar Blazing Spear nerfed

So with the recent adjustment to the rate of damage ticks for Blazing Spear resulting in less activations of Burning Light how many patches in a row is it now that Templar has been nerfed either directly or indirectly? What's your best guess for the next "Adjustment"? How will ZOS Nerf us next? Closest guess gets a digital cookie.

Puncturing Sweeps is definitely a seriously important part of any Templar build! Of course they will nerf it! Let's change Puncturing Sweeps to only 2 hits, we gotta contain how strong burning light is amiright?0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Strange. They upped the damage AND it still ticks once per second for 6 seconds. So they meant to reduce the ticks but they didn't.
As of right now this skill got buffed, but I am sure they will fix it.0 -

But yea, Templar took the hardest hit with this unneeded change.

Shows you just how little the devs even understand their own game. They nerfed these on hit effect's by 50% and gave us nothing to balance that out. This change hit multiple classes and it feels way too rushed. Where was the PTS testing????2 -

Indeed. it's frustrating.
I don't know, what they were thinking. They basically erased 2 essential benefits of blazing spear and lightning splash, actually 3 for lightning splash even.
This is a 3in1 nerf and will barely increase any performance, as almost nobody uses lightning splash etc. in pvp. You haven't accomplished anything, Zenimax.
And I wonder, why did wall of elements not receive this treatment ? Because you know, you've made blazing spear and lightning splash useless now, but don't want to make wall of elements (yes, the skill you're attempting you make usefull, but refuse to buff it) even less usefull ?
