I personally have grown weary of Apple products after being a diehard fanboy for years; of course, now I'm buying the equally expensive Microsoft products like the Surface Pro...

Even old gaming PC's are more than enough to run ESO; I should know as most of my rig is 3-4 years old now and still running very strong. I have upgraded the graphics, but the rest is pretty basic and old.

I run ESO on a refurbished Apple Laptop (cheaper, but as good as new. Can get them off the AU apple store wesite), 16 gig RAM 2 Gig dedicated graphics card, 500 gig SSD. Never had an issue running the game on this laptop at good settings, only issues I ever have are latency related which is more of an Australian ADSL issue than it is hardware

I know the pain of Australian latency, I'm running mine on a $2000 computer that connects to the internet through my phone and hotspot
What latency do you get? Mine varies a lot, but I normally get 400-600 ping.
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Because some of us were providing useful solutions to the dilemma that the OP was facing and making them want to quit.

Oh wow, thats unplayable man. Most the guys in our guild are aussie so its a regular hot topic. For me my latency hovers between 280 and 340 on the ADSL 2+ connection and between 220 and 280 on Telstra 4G. We all play on the NA server though. Maybe jump on to the NA server and see if you get better results?

    Greetings,

We understand that sometimes people will leave the ESO community, and want to post a “goodbye” or “quitting” thread. Generally, we have found that “goodbye” and “quitting” threads have a tendency to go downhill fast. It is our policy to read the feedback in “goodbye” and “quitting” threads and close them, regardless of whether they are constructive or not.

    Thank you.
