I personally have grown weary of Apple products after being a diehard fanboy for years; of course, now I'm buying the equally expensive Microsoft products like the Surface Pro...
Even old gaming PC's are more than enough to run ESO; I should know as most of my rig is 3-4 years old now and still running very strong. I have upgraded the graphics, but the rest is pretty basic and old.
I run ESO on a refurbished Apple Laptop (cheaper, but as good as new. Can get them off the AU apple store wesite), 16 gig RAM 2 Gig dedicated graphics card, 500 gig SSD. Never had an issue running the game on this laptop at good settings, only issues I ever have are latency related which is more of an Australian ADSL issue than it is hardware

I know the pain of Australian latency, I'm running mine on a $2000 computer that connects to the internet through my phone and hotspot
What latency do you get? Mine varies a lot, but I normally get 400-600 ping.
