Clarification on Changing Campiagns

Thanks for reading, I know there are numerous threads on this topic but many are contradicting each other/out of date. I'm a low level and accidentally joined Azuras star in PC, b/c it was the most active, but can't compete with the v16 players. How do I switch my home campaign to Backwater without saving up 150,000 AP?

Change to backwater then select join later and it will join for free when your current campaign ends.

you can also try to message zos ingame. maybe they can let you switch for free, as its rly ahrd for a newbie to get those 150k ap

On console I found that if you hit the campaign you want to join and select set home even if you don't have enough you can eventually set it to change now or change after current campaign ends. although they both say they will charge you the after current campaign ends option never actually charges you but you will have to wait.
