So i left for a good while. I thoroughly enjoyed the story (not so much questing) of the three alliance zones. From anyone who has played through the DLC is the story writing good enough to warrant 3k crowns?

Im hoping that the story is good enough that it takes away the feeling of just another grind. My fear is with ZoS track record itll just be another grind or worse.

Any insight is appreciated.

I haven't played through all of it yet, but so far I'm loving the story telling behind all of the quests and locations. Even the world bosses have quests and stories associated with them (and they're daily repeatable quests).

And I love the fact that there are loads of dialogue options that are specific to orc characters - including at least one quest outcome that is only possible if you're an orc.

Love the zone. My absolute favorite zone in the game so far.

It's interesting and soloable. Far better then craglorn and more stuff in it then Imperial city and no PvP pressure to boot.

There is a grind to getting materials for gear in the VR16. Actually crafting each piece will cost 150 of the material of equipment you get and decon gear you get only drops on piece of material.

But they have added nodes that were missing in IC. So it isn't to bad and eases the grind.

Eitherway I say the zone is worth it.

It's totally worth it. The story is immersive and the actually grew to care about the characters involved. What I love most of all is the option to completely go solo or play with friends - which was my biggest beef with Craglorn.
