The boss in stage 7 can be bashed/interrupted so you don't need the shield-add iirc.

It is better to not interrupt the boss because if you do he will do 2x damage afterwards and eventually 1 shot you so you can just kill 1 add use the shield from the other and dps the boss from tange or regain your ressources with heavy attacks. His enrage scream is actually the phase in that stage where you get a small break to breathe so interrupting him is making the fight even harder than it would normally be. And I really like it because it forces you to do the mechancis and not just brainlessly skip it with massive dps

Wow, thank you for sharing! I am stuck on the lady giant boss with my magic templar at the moment, and am going back to try again on Tuesday night. I haven't been able to find any videos of magicka templars doing this, so its really helpful to me, thanks

A good tip here is to run around the boss. Its like fighting an uppercut spammer in pvp if you stay behind them or at their side they will never hit you. And be careful Idk what % of his life but he will destroy the platform so make sure you go to the next one before he drops to that health

I'm glad I helped! And like @Springt-Über-Zwerge said, if you maneuver around that boss she will have a hard time hitting you.
    Good luck!! :D

If you interrupt the boss during his enrage, he can later enrage whether or not you have an add up. If you do, the add won't put up a shield so you are screwed. Learned this the hard way when I ran my Sorc through, didn't have much problems on my Templar though.

Best to just let him enrage and use whatever ranged abilities that you have instead.

Great video and guide Blab :)

    Thanks mate!

I wasn't aware that if you interrupted him he would enrage later on. I have never tried interrupting him; I just dps

I didn't notice it until I ran my Sorc through and used Crushing Shock. Interrupts his enrage, and he will do it again sometime after but not after you kill one of the two adds that spawn. TBH I think it's a bug, at least it should be. I suppose you could constantly interrupt his enrage though? I think it's better to use the shields as it's free damage.

I had a huge problem with this stage at first because I immediately killed the 2 casters as they spawned and used toppling charge on the boss so he was always in enrage and 1 shot me I guess its a way to survive his enrage scream if you accidently kill the adds too fast, stun them or stand on the other side of the room. Then you have to kite him until the next enrage scream to use the adds shield or with a ranged build just run around so he never hits you

Careful not to dps her too fast because the adds and ice smashes are based on her health, not time.

I originally tried this max DPS and trust me it is a lot harder than just stop dpsing the boss completely and burning the adds

Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

Very nice, thanks for the write-up. Took me forever to figure out the mechanics on stage 6. Once I did, though, I started pulling the hoarvors to pillars with Structured Entropy and all was gravy. I feel that for magicka temps, once you know the mechanics to these stages we are really well-equipped to deal with them.

I realize that Arena 1 is easy to clear, but I'd still like to know the mechanic that gets rid of the red AoE that follows you around starting in stage 2. Anyone know?

I believe if you sit inside of it for X seconds it goes away? Other than that I've never found anything to make it go away.

Does it really do anthing? I just ignored it because I saw no real downside of standing inside while dpsing the boss. It might deal some damage I didnt realize thanks to the constant heal from jabbing

Very Nice Walkthrough. I spent most of Saturday (like 8-9 hours) in there and go to the last boss. I ran out of gas and my fingers stopped working. Good tip about the moving wall. I kept getting about 1.5 crystals killed and would get knocked off and eaten for dinner by a crematorial guard. A few things I figured out along the way for bosses that gave me extra trouble:

Boss 4: This is the only boss that I simply burn. I grab a power stone, stand in green and burn. When he goes fire, I just heal and dodge the shock waves and fire AoE. I am able to kill him by the second green phase. I am sure your way is cleaner, but the burn does work.

Boss 5: This is the boss I was stuck on for longest, but it can be very simple if you are patient. Platforms explode at 75, 45, and 5%, adds spawn at 90, 60, and 30%. This is a fight were I find myself holding DPS at times. I will get right before one of those thresholds and hold DPS until a troll spawns.

-If a platform is about to break (75,45,5), once troll spawns I attack boss to get him to break platform and stun troll. Take out troll, drop ultimate on the ghost add, and DPS boss.
-If adds are about to spawn, I hold DPS until troll spawns, take it out, then DPS boss to trigger the two adds, and hopefully they are dead before another troll spawns.

It takes longer, but it really isnt two difficult. As a NB, prolonged suffering is great for locking down an add. @Pinky pointed most of this out and it was really helpful. Also, make sure you tab target the troll as soon as it spawns. I was getting killed because the boss will stand right on top of troll and if troll is not tabbed, I always seem to hit the boss instead.

Boss 6: If you can time the stun to go right as the lurcher spawns around 50%, you should be able to DPS boss from about 50%-20% or so while stunned and then you can just burn her after. Again, make sure to tab target the spiders that spin the webs so you dont miss them.

I'm happy to see that you have some of your own thought process to share. A lot of the mechanics I listed can be dealt with in different ways(as suggested by your post). Thanks!
