    I run vMA with 20k health and have never been one shot by anything unavoidable.

    Holy crap it's a joke, obviously mobs dont do 100% of your health, Maelstrom arena is fun and all, and the mechanics of most of the arena's are good, but for some it's literally just piling damage onto you, and that's a really cheap way to go about making something difficult.

    Stamina or Magicka DK? I've gone through on my sorc and templar and now want to try my DK tonight but I'm a little scared how she'll go if I keep her purely magicka....

There are very few times where I die due to failed mechanics, it's simply just multiple damage sources hitting me all lined up perfectly at an inopportune time. I've cleared it and it felt good to finally finish as a stamina build, but the lack of access to toxic/"freelo" game play such as shield stacking and healing offensive abilities really puts me leagues behind. Not to mention the only range stam builds have are bows (and one nerfed dual wield ability), which are in a very poor state at the moment in terms of PvE.

    They've pretty much stacked an insane amount of damage sources between mobs, who all have mechanics of their own (Round 9 healer remembrance, 10/10 while crematorial melts your face and gets healed to full) that pretty much spells certain doom unless you play absolutely perfectly. Hope you don't sprint lock, grey bar, or desync, or you're dead with nothing you can do. Not to even mention some of the boss mechanics have 0 counter play if they line up with something else. Round 7 if a mushroom appears under that shield while the boss roars? Wipe. Poisoncaster spawns and fills the room while you're stunned by a mushroom from the boss? Wipe. Overcharger decides to lower his shield for no reason while the roar? Wipe. I really hope ZoS goes in with god mode and runs through vMA with a damage recorded just to see what they're making people go through, as well as identifying moments where they would have died with nothing they could do. To whomever has been testing content for them, I really hope they get replaced or start paying more attention to their reports, because the fact that half of this stuff makes it to live is just mind boggling.

    It's the spinning blades, easily avoidable.

    You won't be one shot by anything in there unless you ignore a mechanic in which case it's a deserved death.

    Yeah man, I hear ya, I actually got stuck on the poison boss round, I just could not beat it, I tried 3 times, got to the poison boss round 3 times, just could not beat it.

    My main problem with MSA is the simple pace of it all. It feels way too fast, hyperactively so.
    So many mobs spawn based on time. If you did not kill first wave in a certain amount of time you will get to deal with second wave of adds meanwhile first wave will keep piling the pressure on you. At the same time you will get new mobs at full health with their new special attacks and old mobs still hanging on. If you cleared first round you literally have five or so seconds if that to generate back your resources to prepare for second round. Many times I found it is more effective to "wipe" and respawn with full resources rather than engage at low magicka. Entire arena for majority of those who managed to finish it for the first time was a painfully long experience, a marthon unlike 12 man trials that generally take less than an hour or even half an hour. I know, in a few months time MSA will be cleared in same pace that DSA is now but at this point it takes hours for good, not amazing but good players, to finish it. It took me 4 attempts over this first week to reach last stage and I am a good, not amazing but good player, and I spent six hours reaching stage nine and three more hours of trying everything and adapting my playstyle, gear, champion points, attribute points (spent 700 crowns to respec), skills, you name it until I finally gave up.
    Last boss mechanics in particular are artificially hyped up to be "hard" whereas they are hard in the only way that unless you are very lucky not to get hit or run into certain AOEs you are screwed. Healer healing up daedroth to full health, charging in to interrupt boss and being hit by a ghost, getting stunned while outside of anything that can stun you, receiving DOTs higher than your health pool, you name it, I had it all. This is not challenging, this is artificially tuned up to make it difficult by design.
    Please Zenimax, look into MSA again. Do not nerf it to oblivion but make it less of a third person shooter requiring bolt reactions and perfectly executed kill orders of adds; consider adding short timeouts between rounds, this is not a 100 m sprint race.
